They should've rebooted Batman with the rest of the line, and made Dick Nightwing and Jason the new Robin. Everyone would be watching and waiting for that crowbar to drop, and reading the book you'd get the inescapable sense that you're seeing a character living on borrowed time. But after a few years of close calls and death-defying escapes you'd figure that maybe, just maybe, this time things will be different for Jason. This time, there's no 1-800 hotline deciding his fate. This time... and then BAM!

Crowbar.

That's ....pretty fucked up. Very few people could make that work well.

Cassandra has been in the dog house for a while. she did make a return in the crimanlly under rated red robin series

God, I would kill for a Red Robin/Black Bat teamup series.

It wasn't always the case - the first issue of Teen Titans mentioned him being Robin but it was changed to the generic "partner" when it was collected. The zero issue on TT apparently confirmed that he was always Red Robin.

Oh yeah, he's also not actually Tim Drake.

Wtf. He's Tim Wayne? And he's always been Red Robin? Lol. How ridiculous. The Robin that had his own 180+ issue series was never Robin.

One of the problems of keeping batman without an origin. Complications arise, and shit makes even less sense.

He's not even Tim Wayne. Like, the origin is so mind-bogglingly inane in how it changes so much but affects absolutely nothing. Essentially, his snoop-dogging out Batman's identity (which Batman totally knew about since he's Batman!!) ends with the Penguin attacking his family for some reason or another which in turn results in them having to go into ~witness protection~ and changing their last names. Into Drake.

It wasn't the case at first but I kinda like the new artist on TMNT after a couple issues. It's kinda raw and scribbly at times (reminds me of the dude that was doing Frankenstein in that regard) and sometimes the turtles' faces can look janky as shit (lots of oddly gaping mouths and toothy grins) but I think his action panels and character poses are great. Thought the Slash encounter in this week's issue was great.

Lemire possibly leaving JL Dark soon, per aintitcool interviewer comment.....

DC is losing me, hope its not true...or someone who has a good idea hops on.

Where is booster gold in the Nu52. his other series was not half bad.

also generation lost was the first judd winick comic i liked
I know the answer to this one... Booster was the frontman for that floundering Justice League International book that got canceled. Then, he blinked out of existence after seeing Superman and Wonder Woman make out. Which makes sense, as it's what I felt like doing after seeing it too.

I like to think that he, Ted, Donna, Wally, Atlee, Steph, Cass, Bab's chair, and the rest are just chillin' at a pool party in limbo. Just relaxing and trying their best not to think about what DC's going to do to them if/when they're dragged back.

Red Robin was his name from the beginning but he still wore the Robin costume and worked with Batman.

Jerome Opena draws flat and boring art. Come at me.

It would be funny if this were a promotion for a third X-Force team. Anyway, shame Giffen couldn't get this book.

4 months into All New X-Men and Bendis is starting another X title? Bad news for Obama. I don't know if i'm going to keep ordering all new x-men.

Welp, Marvel found the secret recipe to get me give a negative amount of fucks about Uncanny X-Men.

Oh lord. Any hope that we had for All New being decent has gone down the drain. Bendis on 2 X-series? Goodbye quality, hello endless lunch table discussion and soft-crossover bullshit.

Although, <3333 Bachalo <3333

1 bendis title = intrigued
2 bendis titles = disaster.

I don't care, I love Bachalosoim just going to have to deal. Sad he's not on WatXM since I thought him and Bradshaw complimented each other.

Happy #2 was great, and Morrison seems to be
revealing stuff rather early. I am used to everything making sense by the last issue, but the last pages of #3 pretty much just wants me to punch Sax and tell him to listen to the blue horse, do what he says and he'll go away
All in all my fav. book of the week.

comment to the article by the interviewer at the end saying Lemire didn't want to talk about JL Dark in the interview since he's leaving it soon.

Ohhhhhh, I didn't realize I had to click to see the full comments. I see it now.

I wonder if the title will live. Maybe Matt Kindt will jump on.

Sounds like he's going to be doing a Question on going.

Was the Question involved in the JL #13 backup? He says there's a connection between that and his new book. A search tells me Steve Trevor was in it.

Know what I'm spankful for?

Good gawd.

God yes... Ugh the wait for this feels bad man...

But looking at my current list at my LCS, I'm thinking Hawkguy will be the only one I double-dip floppy/digital whereas everything else will have codes so I'm good there.

...time to clean out the fridge once my books start coming in.

Got my issues mixed up, the Question was in a backup for either 12 or 0. 13 was Steve Trevor and Ollie.

Seems like that Avengers book is already worth reading only for that art alone. How many issues of UXF did Opena draw?

Opena give it to me now.

Bachalo is the last person i want drawing talking heads

Yeah, right. Whatever. Even if Bendis handed Bachalo a script full of talking heads I know god damned well he would find a way to turn into indecipherable artbarf.
