The fact that you think I go into Wii U threads to "tear it down" tells me all I need to know about you.
Easier than Lego, you say? Hmmm...
I WILL build a PC this year.
You have a Cyberpunk avatar but don't already have one?
You won't regret it
I can only hope they take advantage of the system like criterion did....
Wait, which one is the lead one?
Are they porting the 360/PS3 version to the Wii U or will it be a ps4/durango port?
How dare you judge me based on my avatar!?
I like the look of it.

The difference between Watch_Dogs for Wii U/PS3/360 and for Durango/Orbis won't be that big, I can guarantee you that.
I'm not trying to pick on you Baconsammy but it boggles my mind people distracted by tearing and framerate drops continue to buy games available for PCs on console. You already have a Mac so most likely all you need is a copy of Windows and a $250 graphics card and you have exactly what you want from next gen already.
Even if a new console remedies the problem for a couple of years. You don't think you will be in a similar situation shaking your head at these problems in the later half of the generation? Isn't it worth not experiencing tearing to drop $250 now and $250 3 years from now?
I'm half convinced you're a joke poster due to the only posts you apparently make being negative ones in WiiU threads.
The Wii U version will be inline with the PS3 and 360 versions. Are they porting the 360/PS3 version to the Wii U or will it be a ps4/durango port?
How do you figure? The difference between Watch_Dogs for Wii U/PS3/360 and for Durango/Orbis won't be that big, I can guarantee you that.
How do you figure?
And you don't think the Orbis/Durango version will have superior textures with all that extra RAM?It'll have textures, for starters.
Watch Dogs Wii U is actually a completely unrelated game where you play as a pomeranian who trolls the streets of 1970s Chicago and sniffs out petty crime.
Touch screen and gyroscopic minigames abound!

The difference between the version for PS3/360/Wii U and the version for Orbis/Durango will most likely be as dramatic if not more so. And don't expect it to look even close to what the E3 demo looked like on the former 3 platforms.
And you don't think the Orbis/Durango version will have superior textures with all that extra RAM?
Someone's gonna be very disappointed with Orbango's first gen titles.
If Nintendo really wanted to try and siphon off some heat from Durango and Orbis, they'd pack this game in with a Wii U premium along with 3D Mario and sell it for $20 less than whatever Orbis and Durango end up selling for.

This so much.Someone's gonna be very disappointed with Orbango's first gen titles.

The E3 demo looked amazing, beyond anything we've seen multiplatform current gen games pull off and IIRC it ran on a PC. I'll bet my account that the PSWiiU60 version doesn't look anywhere near as good as that demo, and the Orbango version looks damn close if not just like the E3 demo.I'm sure they will, but you're trying to draw a linear comparison between how GRAW turned out on two different generations of consoles, and I seriously doubt that we're going to see such a massive difference like what you're suggesting.

You went to the future and saw how it looks?
ever heard of diminishing returns?

People that can't afford to upgrade yet?
yeah we're not there yet

Interesting PS3 and 360 news.
yes we are
No, but owning a computer capable of playing PC games at high end settings gives me a general idea of what can be done with textures when you have more memory to work with, and this is even when dealing with the Windows overhead along with having a very expensive API in your way.You went to the future and saw how it looks?
I heard a lot about that in 2005. Boy, that theory really panned out.
But I thought NSMBU and Zombi U were first gen next-gen titlesNope, sorry. I play current PC games maxed out where the jump is as dramatic as that jump with current gen titles.
In Watch Dogs alone, there are tons of effects going on that have not been in any current gen games - and that's a first gen next-gen title.
For fucks sake this looks like a poor Dreamcast game

Besides hoping to widen the gap between systems as much as possible with these shoddy comparisons, you're doing the PS2 a disservice.[/QUOTE]
Yeah because it's a game designed for a more powerful platform scaled down so it can work on a less powerful one rather than something built from the ground up for said less powerful console.
I bet it is a mistake.
I expect the PS3/360/Wii U versions to look no better than GTA V, or about the same, and the PS4/720 versions to look close to if not the same as the E3 demo.Of course those won't look anywhere nearly as good, but you're crazy if you think they're going to look like GRAW PS2 in comparison.
it really isnt
Wow i was impressed from the wii-> wiiu graphics transition. Are you saying that the 360/ps3-> Durango/orbis will be even more prevalent? I didn't think the specs were THAT good.Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter for PS2:
