I wonder how many millions is this game sucking up?
(They wont keep the copies low)
Can't they just toss this on the Wii U eshop as well? (I'm only asking because I'm not sure what Wii U first party retail games they put up on the store)

All of them. On day one.
Just as with the 3DS.
I was pausing and playing the trailer today thinking that there may be something interesting in the sky that people haven't noticed, so I was primarily counting the moons\planets (whatever they are)... I'm pretty sure there are just two moons in the sky. So we can see at 1:07 both the moons visible at once, it looks as though there is an atmosphere of clouds surrounding the left planet and the right planet might just be an empty moon - more evidence due to the last shot at 1:35 being very close up.
Now the next thing is that the moons are unique in every shot, being drastically different in distance from the home planet that the character is on, maybe the counter at 0:52 is something about the moon crash landing and killing everyone (like Majoras Mask), maybe they need the fuel to somehow turn the home planet into a spaceship and fly away (like in that Futurama episode...)
Also at 1:14, something rectangular that doesn't seem to be connected to the mountain and just floats there is visible for about 2 seconds, I wonder what that could be, it almost seems like it is moving forward.
Sure X is going to have RPG and Story elements, but this game could be something even more, it could be the largest world in a video game (somewhat evidence from what Iwata said after the trailer)... Who knows...
That could be misleading, and the humanoid mech might stand on higher ground. It doesn't seem to move with the crab mech either way, which makes it rather unlikely the two are connected. And no matter what, if you look at the scene in motion, the humanoid mech seems to several hundred meters further in the distance. Which also means it should be several hundred meters tall, or the size of a large skyscraper - but that's an entirely different issue.
I re watched the trailer yesterday.. Damn i cant believe i'll actually play this game one day.
There's a kind of retro vibe in this game, feels like a 90's rpg made on a next gen system !
Imagine how different this industry would have been if in some alternative reality games like X could sell CoD numbers.
Man, I need more Nintendo. More. Something. Give me X or give me death.

I expect a full blow out next E3.

I'm quite certain such a radically perfect dimension exists, I just need to figure out what atrocious wrong I did to deserve this dudebro dimension and then fix it, after that I'll be granted the opportunity to live there the rest of my immortal life.
I've said quite a few times before that Xenoblade feels like an old early-mid 90's anime. I can't quite put my finger on why that is, but it reminds me of the stuff I'd watch in my early teens, and that is an excellent thing.
Going by trailers, I get that same vibe from X.
Someone uploaded the teaser trailer, think it was in the older thread but IIRC it was a 1080p version but it was from the eShop.Did anyone ever record the e-shop version of the trailer?

Literally as soon as this game gets a firm release date, I will buy a Wii U.
I feel pretty much the same way. Preferably a confirmation of localization release, lol.
I think we need to go find a girl who is missing half a pinkie to solve this problem.

Lol i need to find this dimension too!

Definitely getting a localization, no doubt about that.Regarding localization, this is also promising.
The only reason I bought a Wii, and will now buy a Wii U, is to play Monolithsoft's games.
Already confirmed.
Then you need to buy it yesterday, or like three months ago, because it's already confirmed.

I expect Nintendo to put out a big E3 like ND around the time PS4 and XBO launch to try and take some of the attention away from them.
Not indepth stuff but more / new footage of X, Bayonetta 2, Smash Bros, MK8 and maybe the new Zelda.
I expect a full blow out next E3.
Oh, that's great news then! Hopefully they won't pull another Xenoblade where it takes almost a year to fully release everywhere (well, it was still limited to just one retailer). D:
I expect the game to be out before next E3pls
Regarding localization, this is also promising.

Thanks for the bump, now I can't stop thinking about this game again.

But when is the big deal here. Localization was already confirmed. Pokemon is getting world wide release in few months and who says they couldn't pull similiar stunt with X? I doubt Nintendo has the luxury to sit on unlocalized games like they did on DS and Wii.
IKR
gonna rewatch the trailer now... 50 times
