See, there are these tiny details that piss me off in games; watching a stream just now, and a guy driving a car tried to drive through a tennis court, hit the net and bam, rock solid wall, the car got smashed on the front.
Edit: he just hit some swings near the beach, same thing.

As above you, what are the details on storing your car? Garage, parking space,? How does that work?

No idea. Even though I´ve played 7 hrs I feel like I have only scratched the surface.
Right now the garage next to my house will store my car and that´s all I know.
I´ve seen a buyable garage on the map though.
I recovered Franklin's car at the car impound you mention. Thing is his car is always in front of his garage no matter what so I am still a little worried about it.
This game is something else. It is everything I thought it would be and beyond. It truly is San Andreas 2.

Thanks dude. Just glad to hear there is still functioning garages. Hate to customise a car and not know where to put it.

360 version. Framerate is surprisingly good. Especially once you leave the city.
I think the it´s overall better than IV.

PS. It seems like the shadows are slightly better rendered on Xbox 360 version and also the vegetation (palms, trees) are made a lot better on 360. Apart from that - everything is quite the same. Great job, Rockstar!

I see a difference in the last pic as what you said about 360 having better palms and trees are true, though both versions are nearly the same!

When you shoot enemies do they have wounds like in Max Payne 3? Ie exit/entry on any part of the body.
Based on those I'd say the lod/pop-in is noticeably better on PS3.

Haven´t noticed that - but I also haven´t payed attention.
You don´t ( or at least I didn´t ) get the MP3 slow-mo effect so it is hard to tell.
What I can say though is that shooting in a GTA game never felt better.
Guns have great sounds now, too.
Thanks - they really nailed the PS3 version this time. That's great, it was one of my main concerns with this game.

After watching this, the graphical difference between this and GTA IV is kind of mind-boggling.
I assume the developers that worked on GTA V aren't the same as GTA IV?

I would bet that GTA4 had some of its roots in the previous gen and 5 is built for these consoles from the ground up.
Is he playing missions or just fucking around in this?

That's really weird though. The 360 versions looks actually better in all other places. Textures and shadows are slightly sharper on 360 and the foliage is slightly more detailed. No idea why exactly this spot looks better on PS3. But overall 360 seems to be the better one again.

No, 360 is the better one. That particular shot from Snake is cherry picked. Look at the other screenshots. 360 has sharper textures/shadows and more detailed foliage. It seems to have some anisotropic filtering too.

Both are a jaggy mess. Still quite an accomplishment to be able to keep this running at a stable framerate on old hardware. Rockstar has done a great job especially compared to GTA4.

thats weird, in the third comparision, the palms look better and more detailed on PS3, and on the last one they look better on the XBOX. maybe something got mixed up?

The foliage on the palm trees is obviously nicer in the 360 build.
That for one is true but shadows sharper on 360 is bs.

It´s amazing. It´s the GTA I have been waiting for since San Andreas.
Probably the GTA most of us have been waiting for.
My expectations were high - V still managed to overwhelm me.
You´re gonna love it. Everybody will.

The screen shots comparisons change which console is on mouse out or mouse over for some reason.
May want to check the very top to see which console is what type.
i.e PS3 isn't always the mouse out one.
edit - Sorry, ignore what I said above. I thought I noticed that but it seems to be fixed now.
