Graphically not to impressive. A lot of shadow noise, pop-in and stuttering.
This is just a thought I had.
What if The Division goes through the same process as Watch_Dogs have done?
Both are published by Ubisoft
Both were announced with a very staged (but awesome looking) probably more than 2years before release
Both are open world
:/ I want game companies to stop showing their game too early in development.
They probably are showing it in the best possible light.I'm still excited about this game, but they aren't showing off their game in the best light, but I guess it's good that they're keeping some of the surprises hidden away.
man..this thread show how some gaffers are so elitist,so exquisite about graphics that i wished they work on the gaming industry making engines or assets to enjoy their work, must be incredible to be that exigent

A decade ago, I would have gone absolutely bonkers for a game like this.
But now, it just makes me feel really, really tired. I feel like I know exactly how it will play out, what I'll spend my time doing moment to moment, how one element will blend into the next, how all of the features will overlap, etc. I've done all of this before in a million different ways in a million different settings.
It's pretty and polished as hell, but we desperately need a new paradigm for open world games.
I wonder if you can ghost the game and never kill anyone. Does anyone know if there are non lethal guns like tasers or tranquilizer pistols?
It's PC.
It's PC.
I guess it's pc with ps4 spec...
I've read a few pages in this thread I still don't understand what people are complaining about when comparing it to the first trailer from E3 many moons ago.
It looks like the same game to me? You can hack things, profile people, dynamic-ish chase scenes and it looks fantastic. All of that was in the first E3 demo so I can't see what has changed?
Some peeps are saying that it looks like a mix of tech from Assassin's Creed, Splinter Cell and other Ubisoft products but how did the first demo not show that? I just don't understand what people expect from games these days and how opinions can change so drastically on a product that has been pretty much the same every time it has been shown.
I can understand some people feeling a little less hyped due to see the competition out there and such but to be from *ZOMG DAY ONE* *IN TO MY VIENSSSSS* to *BLAND 1/10* *$5 second hand deal plox*. I suppose all this is just hyperbole but it makes me disappointing to see such drastic opinions and no middle ground at all as it must be terribly hard for developers to decipher the comments to see what people actually don't like about the game.
I think Watchdogs still looks great and has enough variety in gameplay to differentiated itself from a other open world games. I have a very similar opinion than I did when it was first shown off the only difference for me is manage my budget so this might not be a day one title for me and the competition about. We have GTA in a few weeks abut I'm sure I'll be semi burnt out on that mid November time but then November is new console time which brings with it a game from most genres making it hard decide what to go for
I wonder what some of you think you saw shen this game was revealed? Except from the fact that the graphics is not on par with the reveal trailer, the gameplay looks just same. I had the SC, AC vibes from the first moment i learned about this game.
Was excited 2 years ago when the game was revealed, probably won't play it unless it drops to 5$ on sale.
All that dehyping in this thread, now I'm not sure whether to get this on launch or not.
They should stop showing unfinished prototypes in such an early stage. Now I fear for the Division. Its the ubisoft graphics trap we(oke i) always fall for it when they announce a new ip
I agree with other comments here.....there is a noticeable visual downgrade to what was initially shown at E3 2012

Quite many things can change during that 18 months, when it was first shown, there were no eagle tower/radio tower/ctos server mechanics, no laughable reputation system, no pseudo-stealth. To be frank, I rather them not add these silly designs.I wouldn't call it showing of a prototype 18 months from release, as was the case with Watch_Dogs, and probably also The Division.

AC IV may do the same thing for me... so I'm not going to buy a lot of games this fall I guess. I don't buy EA games, now that I have Rayman there's no good Ubi games left. This left GTA V, Pupeteer, Tearaway and mostly Nintendo games.
Back at E3, end of the year looked so crowded and full of very good games. Now there's like 10 I may buy from now to the end of the year (knowing I have 4 systems it's not a lot imo). I'll have more money left for the PS4 / Xbox One next year

Looks as bland and uninspired as GTA. I'll definitely stay away from it.
GTA is slightly less bland and uninteresting?Watch Dogs is not even in the same league as GTA 5. At least based on what we have seen from both games so far.
