Ray was brought over to be a lethal 3 point specialist off the bench. He never was a defender and this series more than any time these past 2 seasons I saw him try to do too much. It isn't his game or why he was brought to Miami.

Really the fault should start with Wade. James can also be faulted for the lack of defensive energy but he was the only Heat player to show up every game on offense. And some guys just missed a bunch of open shots. Cole and Chalmers who used to provide some much needed buckets and energy were awful. Birdman their one true defensive big man presence looked like he was on one leg. Total non factor. When usually he is great for the Heat.

But overall they just lost to a far superior team. And the Heat's defense which used to be excellent and covered up their lack of rebounding has been nowhere to be found.

Just give up. Skip Bayless and Screaming A live here now. Most of the last few games saw many defenders rotate towards Bron when he touched the rock. That 30 for 30 damn near crowned Pippen as Jordan's savior that put Jordan over the hump. Not to say Pippen was MVP but only 2 Heat players showed up this series and their coach got that work. But, yeah, Bron isn't Jordan. Okay.

Yup. I find it hilarious that a lot of the people who rag on ESPN for talking about the Heat and LeBron non-stop do the same thing themselves. You guys ARE what you hate.

Then take him out the game and put someone who will. His lack of defense and offense I dare say, really cost them this series. Let me not get started on his flopping. Didn't they just extend his contract too?

LeBron should have stayed on the floor and at least pretended. Dude is the team leader and captain and he wouldn't stay with his crew and sinking ship.

Wade hasn't even started that adaptation, and his IQ isn't even on the same planet as Kidd. Most players by that point have done something to ease into it, or they just disappear, see T-mac or Vince Carter, and yeah I know Vince is still kickin, but he hasn't been relevant in years.

Why can't it be based in reality? He averaged close to 30 a game while shooting 60%+. He was the only consistent player on the Heat. They just got destroyed overall.

AND last year he absolutely deserved the credit. Game 6 they were down by 10 in the 4th quarter and he brought them back and hit the big 3 before the Ray Allen 3 to make it a game. They weren't just giving him credit for no reason.

You guys have this weird idea that because the Heat lost everyone should shit on Lebron even if he played well. How is that logical?

Yeah we can. We can have accurate analysis too. Bron scored 30 points this game, Wade has no legs, Heat got beat at point guard, center, strong forward, bench contribution, and coaching. I think Bron's contribution shouldn't even be in the top 5 of why they lost. Biggest reason was Spurs playing excellent ball.

This thread fucking sucks.

Bosh still has game left in him. He isn't exhausted or banged up like Wade.

A better coach would have made Bosh number two.

Leonard scored 20+ in 3 consecutive games for the first time in his career. I feel this series is closer if Bron found a way to contain that guy when the refs stopped doing it for him.

Heat were in the same situation the 2008 Lakers were in after Ariza got hurt. Suddenly Kobe has to score 30+ and defend Pierce/Allen depending on who was going off...

A better coach would have made Bosh number two.

The Heat were at their best with Bosh as the #2 this year (when Wade sat out) but they still relegated him to a 3pt shooter. Very dumb
