This game is so good, it really doesn't feel like I'm playing the worst Metroid.
Controls perfectly too.
Is it good with Xbox controller?
Controls are horrible on my xbox one gamepad (especially analog movement, too twitchy), so i switch to keyboard, gameplay is perfectly fine.
PS - i recommend switch to 4x scaler instead of stretch for perfect pixels.
Wait what so this is a remake/re-imaging of the the Return of Samus for the Gameboy?
So the sane way to play the series in 2106 is....
Metroid Zero Mission
This Game
Super Metroid
Metroid Fusion
?
I cant believe metroid 2 dosent suck so hard now.
Dpad man

When you get the charge beam, you'll be able to draw them in Metroid Prime style.Argh, second health drop that spawned juuuust outside of my jumping range :S

What does RB/R1 do? I'd like to switch it to missiles.
Anybody can point me how to connect a dual shock 3 or a Wii u pro controller to Windows 8?
And people, who cares about the chronological order of the series. The important thing is the evolution of it's design.

Thanks, I'll just use keyboard if the controller doesn't work out.Yes.
You have to change the button binding in the menu. RB defaults to Weapon Switching iirc?

got some screen tearing and don't know if I can trust the VSynch the game offers. I'll see if NVIDIA stuff works when I add the exe in the Control Panel.

It tears to me even with Gsync on which is incredibly weird. Had to change to Non Fullscreen.
That's the chronological order of the 2D games. If you bring in the Prime series:
- Metroid Zero Mission
- Metroid Prime
- Metroid Prime 2
- Metroid Prime 3
- Another Metroid 2 Remake
- Super Metroid
- Metroid Fusion
Well, that was one very generous room filled with Missile Tanks. I am a little wary now, since video game logic dictates that generous upgrades are given before a tough fight.
Comment about an upgrade (still very soon in the game, 3rd "major" upgrade):
Well, I wasn't expecting to unlock the Spider Ball so quickly. I wonder if it is the same in the original game.
As i never played the original NES game, does zero mission vaguely follow the layout of the NES game?.....as im guess the NES version didnt actual have any story parts to the game at all?....or is zero mission nothing like the NES game really?

Customized the controls already. Missiles on "B" (Xbox pad) feels horrible. Put them on RB and changed the Missile setting to "Hold". Way better imo.
This is beautiful, thanks a lot.Try joy2key.
