"Professional CoD players" always gives me a chuckle. I have no idea how they managed to push this laid back and casual as fuck (not a bad thing!) shooter into this whole esports thing.
Be that as it may....who the fuck plays TDM? Domination is where it's at. I love MW 2019 with all my heart. It's the most fun I've had with CoD since the original Modern Warfare.

Gun sounds are terrible compared to MW. Everything sounds the same, loud and hollow. I like the sliding better, how scorestreaks are not overpowered like MW, and shooting from the hip works easier. Map design is good also as are graphics. Overall, I think its good its different from MW, now we have two different feeling titles to enjoy.

Right? I thought to myself, I can’t be this good right off the bat but I just kept winning all the duels lol.
Anyway, game seems better looking than in alpha and overall just better, more enjoyable and fun. Different than MW but even though they all are under Activision roof, they are completely separate companies, not sure why people would expect continuation from MW. I think these two will work great next to each throughout the next year.

I maxed out the Type 63, idk if it's OP or not but it rules haha. Use a Royal & Kross scope (or the other one with the crosshairs), titanium barrel with the +23 fire rate, field agent foregrip, 35 round mag, and win.

Played two matches on PC, 1 Kill Confirmed, 1 TDM, team won both games. I thought it felt fine, had no real issues with it. Ran wonderfully, looked nice, and played nice. I was all lover the Stoner and loved it. But LMGs have always been my jam since the OG MW.
I dunno, I'm looking forward to it. It's just more mindless silly COD. I'm just glad that they did away with the stupid blabbering "specialists" that were in BLOPS 3 and 4.
MW 2019 was still the best feeling COD in a long while IMO, but to me, this is going to be better than the last two BLOPS games, so I'm fine with that.

Played the first few matches and it felt like a black ops game which was a good thing. Then SBMM kicked in and the sweatiness was apparent.
Can't wait for the campaign and zombies, though.

Yeah it definitely feels Call of Duty-ish. Modern Warfare went for realism and that’s fine, it worked. I liked the game. Treyarch COD’s always have that classic feel I prefer.
They just need to get rid of SBMM and the party breaking up after each match. They can have separate playlist for though or something.

I doubt it. Consoles never really matched high end PCs, and I don't see it be that different this time around.PC version looks really good. Do you guys think XSX or PS5 can match this fidelity? These are maxed out at 4k.

Overall I like it, the TTK is long, but it gives you time to aim, this thing is arcadey AF.
The maps are too big for TDM but other modes they feel ok.
I think Fireteam is pretty awesome, I enjoy the BR map features, like buildings everywhere, useless loot, but I hate that when you die you've wasted all of your time, this mode solves that enough for me to enjoy it. It's more like an older BF game, which is pretty neat. Shit, that makes me wish for a new Bad Company, the mode would be even better if buildings were destructible, fuck I'm such a sucker I'd even take a BF:BC 2 remaster for a discounted price.
I liked MW last year, but what made me uninstall it was the awful patches for ALL the MODES, even the ones I didn't want/care about, that really pissed me off. I hope this year they have a TRUE solution to it, I'd never want the hunk of shit that Zombies is taking up my HDD space.
I'm not going to buy it day one, but in the inevitable BF or Boxing Day sale, I'm in at any discount.

I actually had a shit ton of fun with MW19.
And funny you say this cause some YouTubers don’t seem so hot on BOCW thus far either.

Fair point I guess. To be honest a lot of those pros didn’t like the game because of SBMM which in turn neutered their capacity to generate the type of content that viewers will like (ie, pub stomping and get nukes, etc.).
Which is in part the same reason a lot of them are equally mad at BOCW. SBMM is as bad if not worse in the beta, and a good chunk of the matchs I’ve played have been sweat fests with people sprint sliding around corners with their MP5 or XM4 (as I predicted would become the meta in an earlier post).
There isn’t as much camping per se, but I’d rather be faced with a noob camping (that I can either ignore or counter easily) than having pseudo MLG sweats ruining fun by abusing the game.
Also, the netcode is utter trash at the moment, and quite possibly game breaking. That and the overpowered sliding are the biggest complaint on the BOCW subreddit.

Myself I'm fairly above average, my warzone k/d is 1.8 and my mp k/d is a 1.4 and I refuse to camp, which is significantly lower than any other cod game. I had a 2.5+ K/D in bo3 for fucks sake. Modern Warfare deliberately favors the lowest skill playstyles imaginable, fuck off with that.
MW2019 drones can't cope with not being able to play call of duty like its fucking rainbow six siege anymore. MW played like dogshit, enough with this "but muh realism" ranting. Call of Duty has always been absurdly unrealistic and the gameplay reflected that, with MW they tried to compromise but it didn't work. The maps were ass with zero flow or coherent design ("hey heres a random hole in a wall you can peek through and kill people with absolutely no way for the victim to see where it was coming from before they were dead because its a hole the size of a fucking baseball"), the weapons were heavily touted to have heavy recoil but the meta just became laser weapons or attachments that turn guns into laser weapons (Grau, Kilo, lmgs, etc), dead silence isn't a perk, meaning unless you have the ability you stomp around constantly like you have sandbags in your shoes so people camping can hear you with zero counterplay, guns randomly get buffs that overtune the shit out of them (why on earth did the kar get a buff? why did the mp5 get a buff turning into the best gun in the game?), this season is just flat out broken, M4/725/claymore for the first few months making the game a fucking nightmare to play, C4s being overpowered as hell until recently, visbility is absolute ass because of the "realistic" graphics that cover your screen with dust and fog constantly so you see bullets appearing out of thin air, etc.
I'm seriously convinced anyone who liked MW2019 doesn't play cod or never liked cod to begin with. They just enjoyed it because it was a complete bastardization of what made cod fun, and chased the tactical esport fps crowd in the most incoherently and messily designed way possible. I've played every cod since cod2 (except cod3), and this is definitely one of the worst cod mps. It actively punishes any playstyle that isn't super passive.
