As long as it leans to the sim sonde of things like the dirt rally games I’m in. I never liked their arcade handling model in the dirt 5 and the other arcade rally games. Always fealt too light and the cars just lacked feel and weight. Made it hard for me to really immerse in those versions. Still play dirt rally 2.0 so I’m hoping this will be a worthy successor. Just be dirt rally 3.0….. for real. That will be good enough for me.

That is sick. Wish I had one of those too. I have a Logitech G920 and I makes these kinds of games entertaining and more immersive. I just have a foldaway wheel and pedal stand. Drive from my couch.



I think I drive better than that guy though. I have McRae like reactions behind the wheel. I don’t think any gaffers can really top any of my times in these kinds of rally games. Maybe somebody should set up a neo- time attack, table just to prove my point.

I mostly care for Driving Physics and nice Rally tracks. But variety is also nice.
Also the seasons are very cool.

It looks great, though I have to nitpick: Why are all the cars so shiny? I know, reflections are nice and everything, but compare it to the real life footage they use later in the video. Sort of "uncanny valley", but for vehicles.

So, is it a good thing or a bad thing that EA has their hand in this? EA was the bee's knees for racers back in PS1-2 era..

I still play Dirt 1 on PSVR at least once a month. Absolutely phenomenal. Hard as nails, but so much fun. If only Sega Rally 1 & 2 were bright to VR. *Sigh

Will keep an eye on this though.

I’m more of a McRae fan… and a firm believer in the phrase ….. “When In doubt… go flat out”. That’s why rally is fun. Literally takes you to the edge of your reactions and abilities as a driver. It’s a beautiful sport.

Just saw a video on WRC and it was said that this game won't be simulation level of Richard Burns Rally. I find that a little bit disappointing, i was hoping for a new Reference in Rally simulation.
I have to say my excitement went from 100 to 20.

Gameplay looks great. Visuals are a mixed bag. Looks worse than Rally 2.0 I think.

Honestly it looks mediocre at best. It's a huge disappointment for a current gen title.
