I miss endurance races in career.
not every race is 2 laps, but it sure feels that way.

Not all of them but lots of them and especially in the begining.
And yes, I miss endurance races too, they should be optional but available still.
Anyways, I´ll stop complaining, I love this franchise, I think Forza Horizon 2 is going to be great and I hope Forza 6 does it much better, hopefully to be a rightfull succesor of Forza 4.

Read the drag slicks have a very short life, never botherd with them before.

Is anyone using the GTE wheel on the TX for this game?
I'm just wondering if it has any compatibility issues with the game as I don't plan on using the shit wheel it comes with.

Yes. No issues whatsoever.
Much nicer rim than the stock 458 one.

Ugh, does anyone know why some cars have crackling sounds? Using Mercedes 190E in the Iconic Sportscars Series and my ears are dying of crackling from either my car or another car in the pile.
Love the game and my new Xbox One, but between this, the freezing it does sometimes when I am trying to look at achievements and the screen staying dim sometimes, getting quite worried. :/

Previous Forzas have had crackling audio problems, haven't noticed it in F5 but it wouldn't surprise me if there was some still.

Thanks for the reply. I actually have the wheel already for the pc and was fortunate enough to find the base of the TX on craiglist so I went ahead and got it.

OK guys, I'm sure it's pretty clear we aren't doing another season of racing. I really wanted to do the Miata races and have it end the weekend before Horizon 2 comes out. But life got in the way. lol I do have a code for The Bondurant Car Pack which I was going to give to someone who wanted to race with us but didn't have the car. Anyways if anyone wants the pack let me know and I'll send the code over to you.

If you are getting the car pass, you really don't need this pack. It is included in the pass. But if no one else wants it, it's yours.

Upon seeing that the horizon 2 vip membership is 50% off for forza 5 vip members I'm thinking about buying vip. I wasn't sure how much value I'd get from it originally but I've found myself playing a lot since I picked up my xbox one last month.
I've reached level 105 or so, am I correct in thinking that the vip credit bonus will only apply to newly gained levels (and therefore I've missed out on ~3.5m credits)?
If not then it's a definite buy for me because it would make it so much easier to afford the cars needed to complete all career events.
Also I know about forza rewards, trying to hit tier 6 in time for horizon 2!

I'm pretty sure the VIP level-up bonus isn't applied retroactively. There was a VIP pass problem for some users during launch, and I think they were gifted the missed money.
Yeah I decided to give it a try earlier and didn't get any of those sweet stacks.
It's nice to have the extra cars and credits from now at least.

5 is a fantastic game once the AI knows how you drive, also the use of FFB through the xbone controller is one thing i believe gets little credit, it really makes the racing have more depth
