Unless a game called STREET FIGHTER X TEKKEN just became universally panned for its absolutely awful anti-consumer DLC practices. There's absolutely nothing wrong with Namco strutting their stuff and making it known that they support the approach of packing their games full of FREE content rather than locking it behind a disc and $50+ worth of unlock codes.
Sure, it's good PR for them, especially since this game has already existed in arcades, since it's essentially a port at its core. They have that advantage, so they can milk their "look how good we are" angle. They said that new content might have to be paid, so really their approach isn't that different in terms of specially created content for the home version.
