I really couldn't care less about the presidential debate; I already know where McCain and Obama stand. But I'm really looking forward to the VP debate and the epic ownage Palin is sure to suffer.

I mean, Christ...this thread has already made 50 posts in 10 minutes.

Anyways, I also can't wait to see how McCain deals with this Letterman/Couric thing. With the debates coming up, things are going to get interesting for sure.

McCain isn't even willing to go into a debate; you think they're going to throw their weakest link out there for all to see instead of finding a way to weasel out of that too?

I'm sure they'll justify it, saying her history of "reform" and "small town values" are what is needed to take on those big, evil Wall Street baddies.

I tried catching up the backlog before, but quickly realised, you don't miss much when you pick up from the latest page when you get back from whatever you're doing. The thread just repeats information continuously. Even the same debates get repeated whenever the chuckleheads decide to wade in and have another go at abortion, gun control, gay marriage, etc.

I hadn't seen the Hannity interview until now. Holy Shit. She's already using the "depends on what your definition of 'is' is. Fundamentals of the Economy is strong doesn't mean the economy is strong, just that we have good workers and ingenuity. I couldn't even get a quarter of the way through the first part.

Nah, he's definitely trying to duck out of the debate, but if they refuse to postpone it like he requested he'll show up. It would be political suicide to not attend a debate like that if your opponent is.
