The existence of some special challenge on an island was though, which was given away by the name, So I can see the logic there.
Everyone knows Ganon is the final boss of botw though, it's the games whole premise...
Guys is it true the hookshoot isnt in this game?

GANON
is this like Harry Potter when I mention a particular someone's name?

Your video and picture both are in portrait mode, hiding the top left of the screen. If this is the switch version, why not just take a screenshot? Is this actually the Wii U version, and you just have TCPGecko running? (for reference, TCPGecko is a RAM manipulation tool which has a bug that causes the console to crash if you try to open Miiverse/Web browser among other things. This prevents screenshots)
- This screenshot and your video deliberately hide what the distinguishes the Wii U version from the Switch. The D-Pad/Buttons on the top left of the screen.
What is this? I know the joy con aren't that noisy, and neither is the Pro controller. The gamepad though? Wii U pro controller?
- Your controller makes a weird noise at 0:13 in the video.
Either you or someone posing as you is in the Nintendo Homebrew discord server. Their username and your reddit username are identical, the only difference is you have a capital E. Just you being in the Homebrew discord doesn't mean much, but it does imply you are no stranger to hacking. So you can't pull the "I've never hacked in my life, idk what you're talking about!" card here.

Bonus:
- You said your game crashed, and you just came back to this weapon. I know for a fact the game doesn't save as a fail-safe for crashes, so there's doubt you actually came back to an earlier state with this new blade.
amazing commentI wonder how they destroyin Mario OdysseyBowser
lol so funny how this thread turned into a discussion about spoiler tags.
Does this game take place in?Hyrule

If true that this happened due to the game crashing, I'm truly curious what was happening behind the scenes for this to happen. I don't see why the game would randomly put the integer to the highest possible number.

YouTube videos embed on here on mobile. That's probably why he did that.
Apparently Reddit seems onto the idea that it's a Wii U hack. A shame, because I want to one-shot Ganon.

EDIT: EVEN MORE FLAMING PROOF! OP claims this came from the Gold lynel in the Coliseum, however they drop exclusively Flame Blades, NOT Savage Lynel Swords. Proof
Does he prove its the switch version?
I can do that (and have) with a save edit on the Wii U so I don't believe him haha
Yeah if it was the Switch version, I'd be curious too, but the the fact the user said he got a Savage Lynel Sword from a Coliseum Gold Lynel makes this even more dubious since they only carry Flame Blades.
-1Dat 2^16 powa.
Someone please end my suffering immediatelyI haven't finished the game yet now I know Gannon can be defeated. Thanks for the spoilers OP.
But apparently still not too big for Smash!
It's bullshit. Gold Lynels in the Coliseum always drop a Flame Blade.
So it would be impossible to get Savage Lynel Sword from a Gold Lynel in the Coliseum.
A Save Editor exists for the Wii U version of BOTW so one can EASILY modify weapons to have ridiculous stats and durability.
This works for both CEMU and modified Wii U's by the way
Here's proof - http://www.marcrobledo.com/savegame-editors/zelda-botw/
This is some guy trying fool a bunch of redditors into thinking this some kind of memory exploit glitch. Oh yes there is most certainly some memory exploit going on, but most definitely not of the lucky glitch variety.
