I'm sitting at this coffee shop and Goodbye Horses by q lazzerus is playing and of course the first thing that pops into my head is buffalo bill dancing around in Silence of the Lambs. I can't separate the two. Are there any other songs that have become almost dependent on the other work for meaning or cultural relevance?
Other Examples:
Stuck in the Middle With You - Reservoir Dogs
In Your Eyes - Say Anything
Oh Yeah- Ferris Bueller
I'm not talking about songs like Bad to the Bone, Gimme Shelters, Born to Be Wild and iconic film songs that have been in everything (though their first use might fit). And songs written for movies are kinda cheating (Stayin' Alive, Don't You (Forget About Me))
