Was waiting for the PC version cause i heard the console controls were a bit crappy. I guess i shouldn't have :/

Sorry, I saw your question, but I don't know, native res is 1366x768. I'd imagine it would go up to there but you never know.
 
Was worried about missing out on a pre-load for DXHR because I ordered from GMG so I asked them when they would get the keys, should be all good.

Meh, I have to see how it plays for myself first. I have a 360 controller as well in case it's actually as bad as random dude on the internet claims.
 
If I just buy myself a copy of Section 8: Prejudice, I'd need to buy the DLC separately (or in the separate DLC package), but if I get a copy from a 4-pack, it comes with all the DLC?

Just asking because that's not normally how 4-packs work (the discount compared to the single copy being the usual, though), but that's how it seems to be described on the store page.
 
The mouse control complaints sound more like "it's not what I wanted" rather than "horrible controls." That said. Spend that $15 on Bastion not From Dust. :)

Bastion is damn beautiful in 1920x1200.

Section 8: P is tempting, but I know the servers will be scarce a month from now :(

4pack comes with all DLC for each copy. I checked the My Recent History on the blorb and it said I got sector 8: prejudice and every DLC.

The 4 pack includes all the DLC.

Sounds like it behaves the way the xbox version does then - keeps the view mostly centered over the cursor.

That's not necessarily a bad thing. It's a departure from the way RTS's behave on PC but this isn't a typical RTS anyways.

It sure sounds like a lazy port job but as long as it plays well despite the different feel, I don't care.

They are scarce already... And the way you choose the multiplayer games doesn't help either. There's no option to do matchmaking on any server with any map type which is pretty stupid

EDIT: Btw, anyone know if The Undergarden can be activated on Steam? It's really cheap on GamersGate. Love the artstyle, seems like an interesting game

The mouse controls *are* screwy. It feels like it works better with an analog stick or something, translated directly to a mouse.

If you're referring to From Dust, didn't the game already unlock on Green Man Gaming? I'd say that it's a safe bet that the game won't be delayed any further. Now mouse controls on the other hand...

Ah nice. Oh well will see. I survived Black & white which had some terrible controls aswell. If it's really bad, I do hope some flack heads to Ubi. Not nice to delay something and then fuck up a fundamental :D

Yeah I know it won't be delayed again, imagine that though lol. Nah was just referring to the first delay.

God I hope the mouse thing is not too bad. Been looking forward to this game .... so damn much.
 
Anyone having weird performance with S8? I can max out all other UE3 games with AA and get 60FPS locked yet this runs between 40-60FPS even without AA, I've been reading that the latest 280.26 drivers are causing issues with performance for a few games including this so gonna roll back.
 
I got 2 copies of S8:P left.
I do not have Paypal but am thinking about getting it as it seems really good to have. Do I need a credit card for this? Or can I just make an account and people start sending me money which I can use to buy stuff?
I am willing to trade also (either through Steam Beta trading or just simple gifting). Just PM me. Will be home from work in around 4 hours.
