The boss fight against Blade Wolf teached me how to parry the hard way. Had to retry that boss fight for like an hour before I could defeat that bastard.
I hated that wolf. I hated Mistral more, though.

I've actually put 2-4 hours into every game I've bought so far (this sale). I'm quite proud of myself.
It's definitely more like CS:S. It's all still round based, with buying weapons and no long term progression in the way of XP or whatever. That said, it's very approachable and if you enjoy competitive multiplayer FPS games and have been interested in CS, then this is really a great time to try it out.

Even better than parrying, despite it certainly being a very important skill, is learning how to dodge early on (and of course purchasing it early as a result) will pay off in dividends throughout the game, particularly in the boss fights (and most notably the final boss fight).
EDIT: Does anybody know if there are any Killer Sudoku games on Steam? I can find one Sudoku game, and there's a puzzle game that seems somewhat similar in Toma's excellent Indie thread, but I can't find a Killer Sudoku one.
