If reviews are pouring in, I'm probably gonna bounce since I want to go in the movie unspoiled. I did buy Harley Quinn Volume 3 and a Suicide Squad Harley Quinn Funko Pop Figure today, though! I'm like SO excited, you don't even know
There's nothing lame about it. Calling his cinematography anything under at the very least very good is beyond ludicrous. You have a laughable point and are the in the extreme minority. Tons of incredible imagary in that movie that was better than most CMB have by some margin. You calling it bad tells me you don't really know anything about cinematography. The worst costume design ever, I hope for your sake your day job doesn't include designer in any sort of aspect. Give me a break. Your post reads like a troll post since you can pick apart BvS in many aspects, instead you go and pick the worst parts to criticize.
The color palette is your only valid point where regardless on whether I agree with you, I at least get it.
It's lame because it's extraordinarily disrespectful and closeminded to shut out somebody's opinions as objectively incorrect, let alone not having room for discussion. We merely have different points of view, there's no need to be a jerk about it.
Also why would I troll a movie that I've clearly stated that I liked in a thread about its successor which I clearly stated that I'm looking forward to?? Besides, I love DC and have infinitely better things to do with my time than get my kicks upsetting strangers on the Internet for no reason.
I think Snyder has a great eye for composition, but he sacrifices so much to get shots, especially spatial awareness which BvS suffers from a lot. Distance and location is always incredibly poorly indicated and setting variety is virtually nonexistent. I think that Watchmen, Sucker Punch, and 300 all are more visually engaging than BvS.
And no, I just really really hate Batman's costume in BvS. I'm especially unhappy since I absolutely adored the costume from TDK and TDKR and think it's the definitive batsuit. Going from my absolute favorite to my absolute least favorite is more than enough to make me not particularly pleased.
Anyway, this conversation is weird because you seem to think I have an aggressive hatred of the movie that I liked more than most of Marvel's output. Yeah, I may like BvS the same reason I like X-men Origins, but at the end of the day, I still like it a lot.
And yeah, I have no problem being in the extreme minority. Happens all of the time, I don't take it personally.
