The UFC returns Saturday May 13th with what on paper is its strongest PPV of the year so far to date. Featuring two title fights and a strong lineup of contender match ups, it should have something for everyone.

In the Main Event the Heavyweight Title is on the line as current champ Stipe Miocic faces former Heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos

The co-main features the Women's Straweight Title on the line as Champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk makes her fifth Title Defense against contender Jessica Andrade

A major Welterweight with perhaps the next Title Shot against Champ Tyron Woodley is on the line when perennial Welterweight contender Damian Maia meets surging Jorge Masvidal who has looked great since moving up from Lightweight

And a clash of Featherweights goes down, when former Lightweight Champion Frankie Edgar meets the skyrocketing Yair Rodriguez

Frankie vs Yair is gonna be nuts. I'm excited to see Maia school Masvidal on the mat too.

Yeah really all 4 of the main fights are kinda a toss up for me. This is a really difficult card to pick winners as they are all pretty close match ups on paper.

Like I could see a scenario where Maia gets Masvidal down and totally runs through him on the mat, but at the same time I could see Jorge just lighting him up on the feet. Lots of the fights are like that where a case can for sure be made on either winning.

Really strong / good card on paper.

Being from Milwaukee, super disappointed the Pettis fight got called off due to his opponent being injured. Should still be a great card.

Love this card and you're right, most of these are going to be a toss up. Frankie vs yair should be a great scrap and I'm putting my money on yair to win it.

Yeah I was hella bummed when the fight fell through. Sergio looked great last fight and Cejudo was a nice step up in competition. Wanted to see how that was gonna play out

Solid card overall. Here's who I got with my casual knowledge, lol.

Stipe v JDS - Like nearly all heavyweight fights, one hit can ko either one and it just depends on who has the better striking. Leaning a bit towards Miocic but can see JDS boxing him up. Stipe via ko/tko by the 2nd or 3rd round.

Joanna v Jessica - This is a clear victory for Joanna. She's just better all around. She'll possibly give Jessica a good beating. Clear UD.

Maia v Jorge - I like both guys but going by past fights, Masvidal cannot stop that many takedowns and he chooses to get taken down based on his older fights at lightweight. This might play out similar to Maia v Condit. As soon as Maia gets those hands on anybody it is done. I like Jorge but I just don't think he will get many chances to light Maia up standing. Who knows, it might turn out like Maia v Marquardt *shrugs*. Got Maia via submission by 1sr or 2nd round.

Frankie v Yair - Both are fast and it will be who is more active. Frankie is a monster and he should edge this out with his wrestling when it comes to it but I can see him trying to outbox Yair early on just to see if Yair can handle his speed. Frankie via 2nd or 3rd round tko/ko or a decision.

For those of you who are unaware of where "Immigrant Mentality" Stipopic comes from I present to you a legendary rant from Joey Diaz, where he is so high he can't pronounce anyone's names or knows where they are from but he damn sure gets hyped

I posted this in the MMA thread, but DC and Chiesa were way too sensitive IMO.

Jones: How are you gonna tell your kids you never beat that guy Jon Jones?
Cormier: Don't fucking talk about my kids! DON'T FUCKING TALK ABOUT MY KIDS YOU BUM! Keep my kids name out your mouth!

Lee: He wanted this fight because it'll be in OKC, I know his mom got tickets...
Chiesa: Don't talk about my mom! DON'T YOU FUCKING TALK ABOUT MY MOM!

DC was always sensitive though, we knew that. And all the cussing, especially the N bomb, shows how emotional and sensitive this guy really is.
