Now that I've trained myself to stop jumping and rolling away from grenades, and actually throwing them back, the only issue I have with the game right now is the fact that I still pick up guns over grenades if one is anywhere near the other. Feels bad bro.

I would also love to have the Plaza back, that map rocked.

-Sprint was changed so that you could make sharp turns while sprinting, you couldn't make as sharp turns in the summer beta.
-Reduced stopping power

This has made running and gunning very easy and people just run around shooting from the hip. When they get close enough, they'll just melee for the kill. People are literally running into the line of fire swerving around toward someone shooting at them in aim mode and almost always getting the kill. So it's becoming very frustrating for those that play using L1 to aim.

Thanks for the info. Yeah that surely sucks. Hopefully it gets back to how it played in the beta.

It's just like the snowstorm from Train Wreck. Well it's harder to see but I kinda like it. You can still see people, you just need to look harder. :P

I tried playing today because I heard they made some changes. Unfortunately the changes don't take it back enough to the better days of Uncharted multiplayer. I still keep hoping.

Well a lot of us prefer the summer Beta gameplay, what is wrong with that, why should we accept the new changes if we love the older summer Beta build way better. People who want something changed shouldn't shut up and accept the new mechanics, they should complain and hope the developers fix the problem. For me U3 summer Beta was amazing and it would be ridiculous to expect some of the fans of the summer Beta to not say something. Summer Beta was probably some of the most fun multiplayer I have ever had, it would be silly for me to just let it go.

Yeah I never had a problem with he snowstorm since I could see, with this I look for red names and shoot in that direction.

Also I can't remember the name but the molten map is really great.

I disagree, I think its a lot of fun, but then I play for fun and don't care about being competitive.
 
Just went 14-5. Flipped R2 and L2. Sooo much better this way, quick nade toss is now a viable tactic for me and is so useful. Could you do this in UC2 as well and I just didn't know about it? I ripped it up with the M-9. Best game I played yet and I was able to put people down without too much struggle.

whoa, you like it now? I didn't play the beta and only look at this thread from time to time, I remember reading your post tearing this mp apart. good to hear it's improved then.
 
We're back with the chateau that has those walls where you can shoot through them. Wtf. This didn't happen before and now it does all of a sudden.

it aint only that... you can glitch on Desert Village... I really wish the summer beta would be back, cause right now the MP changes are getting worse.
 
I should iterate that despite tolerating what we have now, I'd suck some nuts for the summer beta to be back. Cockburn? Dickmond?

Ran into someone doing that one tonight.
 
Had a fun time tonight, went 17-1 with Drake's AK and got me a Rage. Whoo!

A little tip about the AK: it has no recoil so to speak; the gun doesn't rise when you hold the trigger, it just bounces around the center dot. That's why I couldn't use it before, I was so used to the U2 AK that constantly rises as you hold R1, once I just fired into a wall to see how it behaved I had a much better handle on it.

Also, the Scope Mod or whatever, sucks ass. It just slightly zooms in the over-the-shoulder camera while aiming and clicking R3; I thought it gave the gun the scope that the Gmal has, which might actually be useful.
 
Nope, still not enough stopping power. Hell, I didn't even know it was increased until somebody told me since I hadn't checked the log yet.

UC2 levels of stopping power are what I am thinking. A way to COMPLETELY stop people who try and rush you.
 
Basically, what it all comes down to, is that Sprinting is a terrible "addition" to the game and they're desperately trying to tweak other things to fit with its inclusion. Just like how after 1.05 in U2 they had to tweak so much shit just to get the game playable again instead of owning up to their fuck-up and reverting back.

U2 level of movement speed (maybe slightly faster) and NO SPRINT would solve nearly every current problem with blindfiring rushers and mid/long range combat.

Sprinting was never needed in this game, the maps aren't large enough to necessitate it and you only need to sprint out of danger when you have COD-like health, which this game does not.

Welp, you've just invoked me.

Gotta laugh at Duffyside who's apparently going to enjoy lag deaths, and islands of camping at the spawns because ND has to fuck with perfection that was 1.00-1.04 U2 multiplayer. And seems to want to continue to fuck it up in U3. Shame, because U2's beta of the multiplayer was probably some of the most fun third person shooting I've had.

Yeah that match was pretty crazy. I went 16-2, Qlaahrqueh went 10-1, I think. Insane.
I've yet to get anything past a fury in this beta though. I was robbed of my first legit Rampant in the summer beta. >:[

I also have to agree that the "new" old maps looked a lot better in their UC2 form. Flooded ruins could've been my fav map based on looks alone. Rainy, dark, and overall just awesome looking. While I still like the layout of the map, it just looks so plain now.

Never liked highrise, but at least the daytime setting made it seem less boring if that makes any sense.

I would say something about the facility, but the damn map never popped up in the rotation.....
