I wonder if you could get away with a porn plane, there's probably a regulation against it.

I find it ironic the line between exploitative and empowering for some people has little to do nature of the work, and if it actually is exploiting its workers, and everything to do with what they consider respectable. It's pure projection of antiquated views

Thanks for telling me how I should feel about this as a woman, I would've been lost without your wisdom.

Ok, but the women working for this airline have their own wisdom as well. If they feel fine working for this airline then I don't see the problem.

idk, flying is pretty shit regardless of where you go.

I mean unless they're booking first class style seats at the price of coach, some women in bikini's isn't going to make flying much better.

Well if you talk about going to the beach solely for the reason to look at women in bikinis that's kind of the image I had in my mind.

We've all had to learn how to look without staring/getting caught during our highschool days. If you can't be discreet about it then you're doing it on purpose.

No bald cap? Lies!
While kind of weird, as long as the company provides adequate protection/support and treats the women well and they are fairly compensated I've got no problems with this existing.

Issue with some of these kinds of businesses is that while they do offer better compensation than many others, which is their major allure to prospective employees, they don't always treat the employees well and exploit them a ton and can be rather abusive in a myriad of ways. So plenty of girls jump at the chance due to the money but then get chewed up by the actual work and everything that comes with it.

Yep, pretty much. Can't really see the problem of them wearing a bikini if they want to.

That was my first thought. If the CEO was som old pervy looking asian dude, the reactions wouldn't have been the same.

If you want to look at women wearing bikinis just go to the beach ?
Nobody is taking a flight on this airline just because there are women in bikinis.

If it costs the same and goes the same place I don't see a reason to not choose this airline.

Well it would be helpful if you actually knew what you were talking about instead of just making assumptions. Your opinion basically boils down to this:

It find it ironic the line between exploitative and empowering for some people has little to do nature of the work, and it actually is exploiting its workers, and everything to do with what they consider respectable. It's pure projection of antiquated views

You can feel however you want, but when you voice it, don't get mad when people think that what comes out of your mouth doesn't exactly make much sense.

The headline of the source article is kind of weird. It makes it sound like she happened upon getting rich by means of this airline, instead of the fact that she's a founder and owns 95% of it.

Genius idea. I want to use that airline now too. Maybe I will be able to with my trip to Vietnam. Also beautiful woman. Props to her and her work.

Why have women wearing bkinis then if the company would have achieved the same amount of success without it ?

It was quite a brilliant marketing ploy but VietJet would probably have been successful anyway. The bikini thing only happened on the first flight and they got a fine for it.

Flying is the way to go for longer distance travel in Vietnam and VietJet has the best prices. I fly with then regularly. The flights are ok, just like Ryanair or other cheap airlines. I like both of their airline tunes 😂

My girlfriend mentioned that there are rumors about a mafia connection of the VietJet CEO.

I'm honestly surprised that some state senator hasn't tried to pass a bill to limit what women can wear given how much we hear about holy men complaining about everything women wear.
Didn't a passenger recently get denied entering a United Airlines (correct me if I'm wrong) plane because she was wearing tights?

Man this is beautiful too. Bikinis or an ao dai. One a bit more natural, more open and the other one a bit more traditional and classic beautiful.

I prefer the Ao Dai to be honest.

Only because she was technically an employee and they have a dress code. I've seen hundreds of people over the years wear pajamas on planes.

She was connected to the company and given complimentary business class seats. They were enforcing a dress code for those associated with the company.
