Thoughts on Knytt, guys?

It's better than I expected, but still not great. Not too bad for free, an I like it a lot more than Big Sky and Chronovolt, but not worth £10 imo.

EDIT: Oooh, look at me, top of the page! Buy Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden, Virtue's Last Reward and Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus.

I'd want to be top of my friends list, but that one guy on my list on drugs kinda makes me lose motivation. Still I'll take on all challenges!

When did you try the pitwall trophy? For me is was within the first week of the game releasing


Oh and Schlobeth. Do this. Play on the Vita with your account and your secondary on PS3. That way you can respond to challenges really quickly. Just do a lame time on your secondary account. Challenge. Barely beat with your main. Then again barely beat with you secondary. Challenge. Repeat

Doing it on Vita and PS3 at the same time makes it miles faster.

The problem is the challenge messages don't work between PS3 and Vita. I was sending them via a PM. Although, if I just challenged it in game via the pitwall menu, it would do the same thing? I'd just have to do 10 separate challenges/races, instead of being able to do it 10 times on the same track, like with two accounts on the PS3? It really is a pain in the balls though, I really, REALLY hate online trophies.

Yes, this is basically what I'm saying with the procedure above.

I think if you have a challenge in the game itself from a friend (add me and I'll send one if you want [later]), you can just keep doing that if you don't delete it.

With my method, you just have to change the person or the track so you get 10 different combinations.

Challenge friend A on track 1. Beat it.
Challenge friend B on track 1. Beat it.
Challenge friend C on track 1. Beat it.
Challenge friend A on track 2. Beat it.
Challenge friend D on track 3. Beat it.

Rinse, repeat.

I wonder how many people bought this on PSP. 10?

The PSP emulation is godlike on the Vita. The scaling mitigates most of the resolution issues (still looks blurry but not as jarring as you would expect) and the high end games like Ghost of Sparta/Arctic Edge/GT still look pretty crazy right now. I'm getting a hard on imagining what these devs will come up with once they get around to making full blown Vita versions. Especially hanging out for a Motorstorm game - it's just perfect for handheld play.

Unfortunately, BigBig was behind Arctic Edge and they were shut down earlier this year. : / The reviews for that game are pretty ??? since I absolutely adored it. It was gorgeous and felt exactly like the PS3 games (less rubber banding though) with a new setting.

So what's the general consensus from you guys on Spy Hunter for Vita? Reviews aren't great, agree with them?

It's $20 at Gamestop right now IIRC.

If you've somehow managed to never play Jetpack Joyride before, you should give it a go. Works well on Vita. Can use back touch too which is better than front touch

Seriously, it's all sorts of stupid. I'm particularly mad that DJMAX Portable 3 isn't $19.99 anymore, especially with Technika Tune finally released. It used to be that price for the longest time, but now it's back to some inflated retail price that only

diehards will consider. There really don't need to be price barriers for such relatively niche titles.

I think more rhythm fans should play the DJMAX series because I personally find many other popular music games lacking in terms of note chart quality, audiovisual feedback, and arcade philosophy. I feel like the button-based Portables show off carefully crafted note patterns a bit better than Technika Tune does, too, because of inherent design differences.

It's dumb that Fever isn't on the store anymore, either, but DJMP3 is way better anyway. It'd also be great if we got Clazziquai on PSN by some miracle since it's another cohesive, accessible DJMAX entry that won't instantly overwhelm new players and lacks any auto-correct bullshit.
