Which character has the stupidest battle stance in fighting games?

The more I keep seeing this posted, the funnier it gets. lol

Parallax

best seen in the classic "Shadow of the Beast"
Bridget is cis-gender male. There is a practical in-universe reason for the crossdressing, but GG's storyline is too goofy for me to bother remembering.

One of twin boys. Something about having two boys being a curse, so they had one raised like a girl.

Ninety percent of the stances being posted here are actually cool. Bridget's stance also makes sense for someone who is using a freaking unpredictable yo yo weapon that relies on momentum.

Also, lol at the mention of Q's stance. It's freaking creepy and it fits the character perfectly.
Haha what's Bass doing.
Fainting at the thought of having to fight an entire stadium's worth of horny men.

TIIIINAAAAAAA!

Seeing that dude tumble over has me wondering... what would a fighting game with the Euphoria engine be like?

If they didn't act so darned reclusive about the engine maybe we'd know. Believe me I want to play with this engine more than anything out there as an animator. I even have a 30+ page design doc for a wrestling game drawn up on how to setup a top notch wrestler that uses this as part of its list of tools. The thing is they don't have it priced, you have to contact them directly to find out, and in general there isn't a lot of available documentation on how to make games with it available.

IMO they need DESPERATELY to setup a license agreement like either UDK or Cry Engine. Cry Engine makes more sense for them in terms of contracts as putting this out for free up till a certain amount of revenue is generated isn't likely something they can afford, but at LEAST it would let folks work in the engine and become vested with it in their designs enough to start seeing games emerge.

Euphoria engine is freaking beautiful and I covet it with all my being, but their way of drawing in developers is really poor.
God dammit Shaowebb, I will not have you besmirching Duck King. Apologize for your slander.

Dude I mained him in Fatal Fury and Duck King, Oswald, and Shion were my team in KOF XI. I'll say whatever I want about my trolling buddy.

I've always found Morrigan's fighting stance to be pretty strange:

What's she even doing with her hands?

On the opposite end of the spectrum is Magneto's MvC2 stance:

Simply god tier.

Does anyone have an animate gif of Karla from Tattoo Assassins. I know it wasn't officially released, but it deserves mentioned. She was ice skating on the floor. :p

Duo Lon from King of Fighters XII. What the heck is this? He looks so incredibly goofy, what with that bent left hand and right leg. It probably hurts more to stand like that than actually get hit by others. Besides, King of Fighters always had the weirdest battle stances for it's characters.

that's actually a cool stance, and one of the most memorable from that game. It kind of shows you that he's an unorthodox type of character. The same goes for Voldo which so many mention in this thread. The minute you see his fighting stance you know he has an unusual fighting style.

she is still fuckin awesome

I never realized it, but she has man hands, and that kind of motion is not right on a child....

How exactly can you guys tell it's a he looking at that gif?

OP kills it, many of the others are great.

Zappa's is weird, but fine. It's silly how he's designed though. Why are his pants in constant gonna fall off mode?

With the exception of a few hilarious sprites, some of you are confusing "worst" with "badass." I mean Billy Kane, really?

Mortal Kombat definitely takes this though. SNK's wacky characters are amusing at the very least. And if it wasn't for nostalgia, I'd barf at the sight of MK's stances.

As soon as I saw this thread I knew this needed to be posted.
