Official Synopsis: Acclaimed filmmaker Christopher Nolan directs an international cast in an original sci-fi actioner that travels around the globe and into the intimate and infinite world of dreams. Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a skilled thief, the absolute best in the dangerous art of extraction, stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state when the mind is at its most vulnerable. Cobb's rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved. Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible--inception. Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse: their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one. If they succeed, it could be the perfect crime. But no amount of careful planning or expertise can prepare the team for the dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move. An enemy that only Cobb could have seen coming. This summer, your mind is the scene of the crime.

I knew absolutely nothing about this until I saw the TV spot during the Lost finale, but it looks ridiculously cool.

So excited for this. I have to admit, while I've always loved movies I've never kept up with the best ones up until the past couple years. That's why my plan this summer is to watch a TON of movies, and the director I started with was Nolan. Embarrassingly, I still haven't seen Insomnia, but I will probably change that tonight.
But Memento is one of my all-time favorites now, and this looks spectacular. I'm very hyped.
Oh, and awesome OP Daniel. :D

Now B&N better get Empire in soon.

I didn't know anything about the movie until I saw some trailers on tv. The movie kind of sounds like a live action Paprika.

Still don't have any interest in this movie but we'll see.

Did anyone get Quantum Leap vibes from the last trailer? I guess it was just that line from Leo about maybe the next dream he goes to can finally be his last.

I just showed 4 people the new Inception trailer b/c they've never seen it. Their jaws literally dropped. :lol Now we are all watching TDK on Blu-ray in celebration.

By the way, it's great to see how much the fansite Nolan Fans has blossomed since it began. It's turned into a nice resource of info. A number of the links and videos posted in the other Inception thread came from NF.

I'm throwing a Nolan film festival at my house in July to celebrate the release of Inception.

I truly believe Inception will be Nolan's best film to date. It just feels like everything he did so far accumulated to this film, like him reaching the peak of his career.
