can bots get around the 30 second per chat and 'no repeating the same thing' chat limitations? that's the only thing I want to whine about because I myself can't do those things.

Well if there's one good thing to be said about this, it's that this drama is incredibly entertaining.

True. I think the majority don't want to lose Bird Jesus, but just this whole back and forth is entertaining. Apparently Destiny's mom messaged him on Skype because she saw a recent Twitter conversation between him and a Bird Jesus supporter and she said something along the line of "You hurt that poor girl's feelings." Lol. It's just funny that we went from Pokemon to some guy's mom being concerned about some rando. I'm enjoying it.

Anarchy - faster response, no progress, and just plain frustrating except when it comes to battles where it counts. Otherwise the average viewer probably stops watching when they fall off the ledge for the 30th time in 3 hours.

Democracy - is only slightly better but bots can abuse it anyway, and the slow pace kills it

Solution? Get an active mod and if it takes like 5 minutes to walk to a damn teleporter, he asks for a vote to get shit going. The novelty of walking into walls wears off in like the fourth day.

However, during a battle the anarchy stuff is the best.

Not directly, but a person can set up 900 bots to get the same thing in 900 times in 30 seconds.

Oh sure, just use a variable amount of time rather than a set 30 seconds, and instead of always using one command, switch it up every couple of times. Not too difficult.

Going to bed now. Looking forward to waking up in the morning and finding out we ran away from Zapdos or toosed the Master Ball.

Please capture Zapdos

Update anyone? I last saw us failing to get to the daycare with the idea to get Zapdos

uh.... where to start? A couple regular democracy pushes, an extended failed hostile takeover by another channel. got through the ledge in anarchy, surfed in anarchy and just got to the power plant.

How are DDOS and bots not part of it? Why are they not allowed but rallying a force of viewers (which are acting like your bots) ok?

Wouldn't that not be the social experiment of TTP but rather the social experiment of the one doing the rallying? Like, Destiny has his own social expermient which is see if he can fuck with another social experiment using his channel and subscribers to carry out commands for him?

If I have to further explain to you why DDOS and bots are not part of this experiment, then I don't think you understand what I'm trying to get at.

The purpose of this social experiment is to allow a collective viewer base the option to input commands (i.e. One person at a computer enters a list of commands). One person, not a bot which is an automated program that goes against what the social experiment is trying to accomplish. We have ~80,000 viewers entering their own thoughts and how the game should continue.

Also these "bots" aka Destiny's viewers, also have their own thought process - Not all of Destiny's ~5,000 viewers will enter the command he wants, nor will all of them enter any commands at all, whereas a viewer with a bot can command a program to make 100% of the "bots" to enter the command and thought process he has. Where one person is acting essentially at 500, 1000, etc...

DDOS... really you don't understand why DDOSing twitch servers is not part of this social experiment? Do I really need to argue this?

Social experiments aren't about being an individual, it's about how people react in situations without any rules (in this case). Leaders, followers, outsiders, rebels etc. This experiment is on the internet, so it is open to any possibility.

Glad to see you started caring about the social experiment an hour ago.

I'm sorry, I didn't know there were rules where I had to post in this thread in order to follow the stream and enter commands. I'll be sure to check in with you the next time I need to take a shit.

We were at the daycare for quite some time. TPP was divided between the easy route to Cinnabar (Diglett Tunnel) and using our Masterball to catch either Snorlax or Zapdos. Other options were less represented but still discussed. Democracy came into effect and we entered the daycare and talked to the man, but failed to leave anything with him, switched to anarchy, and gtfo. We started moving toward the powerplant, but unfortunately, we went the slow way, toward Ledge 1 instead of Rock Tunnel. Eventually we made it across. Everyone had sore feelings about politics at this point and morale was very low. We made it to the Pokecenter and a semi-popular guy on twitch had his followers raid TPP, but their efforts to reach the PC were in vain. We've just now surfed along the channel and entered the Power Plant, which has a simple floorplan that will lead us to Zapdos where the consensus is to use the masterball.

I don't really have a problem with some doofus trying to commandeer the game, just the absurdity that we're hiding behind some guise of it being a "social experiment" rather than what it is, e.g. the aforementioned doofus using his internet celebrity to be an asshole.

Pidgeot is at a higher level than Zapdos (59>50), but with Quick Attack being his only reliable move, and Zapdos being an electric type, we may have a problem. I know we don't need to actually hurt it, we just have to manage using a masterball, but it may be tough staying alive long enough to use it (and not run in the process).

Watching this Destiny guy scream idiotically in rage on my second screen after his failed attempts to release Bird Jesus is really entertaining.

Don't worry, whirlwind will definitely make the Zapdos dreams a reality.

Apparently this is one of those guys who gets kicked off of multiple Startcraft teams for being a douchebag in public
