the oblong screen is actually the form of the WiiU2 Visor screens, and the analog stick drawings are a smokescreen for dual individual eye tracker inputs. The camera(s) are obviously in the wrong place in this obvious fake

After the Wii-U (system, not games) I'm actually expecting Nintendo to do the thing that doesn't make any sense. This extends to the design and online infrastructure, luckily we already know they've learned about the latter a bit so hopefully they've learned their lesson with the former too.

I can confirm this is legit since an uncle of a friend of mine who is a game dev tested it out at GDC behind closed door. EA, Activision, 2K, Square and a few others were there too. Didn't get any information, but from the sound of it, Nintendo will try to move hard away from the Wi U console image.

The NX NEEDS analog sticks, a D-Pad and face buttons. I can look past all the other hokey gimmicks (I can't, for the life of me, understand why Nintendo thinks it's a good idea to waste valuable system resources on screen real-estate that will be obscured by the player's hands at all times) but if those three requirements are not met, the NX will be DOA for me and, I'm sure, many others as well.

Yeah a complete touchscreen is great, but not good enough so here are some sticks just in case.

The unused part of the screen of the sides of the sticks make this look totally amateurish.

Well, there's no real smoking gun to say that it's a fake- it's a reasonably convincing mockup, even if that's all it is.

I don't know if it's legit or not, but I could well seeing devs having their hands on something similar.

lets hope interesting also equates to fun/easy to use, as well. Not only that, but this looks expensive, so if it's the controller, woof. Gamepad all over again. If this is the handheld, I hope it has good battery life and that games aren't a struggle to manage the controls.
