I would be willing to watch this, if only to see ideas entertained between the two, because let's face it, one man will not win his party, and the other man has no ideas. I'm a fan of sharing ideas, for at the very least the unaccountable ones are seen in plain view. And hey, no Matrix spinning about Wall Street and linking it to 9/11 or
God-given potential from Hillary, so I'd not have to cringe and wish my life would end.
I just see this as a debate for a debate. I think it will be
fascinating. Populism gone awry. One man who tried to imply unity and another man who has done everything to highlight division, and the audience will have different views on who is what!
If they keep it to points each of them bring to a stage, I see no qualms. But this is the same election that has brought up childish shit, and has closed on questions about God. Unfortunately, Hillary shade will be inferred, sincere or not. I suppose that's what withdraws people from wanting this, for it can become a two hour event where the lesser of any running evils is thrown under a bus.
Like him thinking Chronic pain should be treated with yoga and meditation?
Like him honeymooning in the USSR
Like him praising Stalin's bread lines
Like him praising Latin American dictators
Like him being Chairman of the Senate Veteran Affairs Oversight Committee when 13 vets died from from an administrative scandal
Like his call to abolish the CIA
Like him calling for a state takeover of utilities without compensating their owners
To be fair here, that
can in fact ease pain. But that shit is not a panacea, and I'm sure the example his campaign probably used that would have specific information that may have shown their answer as inadequate. Yaknow, meditating on a broken hip is not the solution to ultimately fix it, for example.
The rest is some wooly shit, though.
