I had to stop listening to Wade Keller's podcasts because he goes ballistic whenever kayfabe is broken. I'm all for suspension of disbelief but he's ridiculous.

NXT hasn't been the same since Dusty passed away, then Ryan Ward left last year and for the most part the NXT has been in a creative lul ever since.

The announcers on Impact say Rex is "transitioning" to this new character. It's pretty gross.
I've never regarded OT as anything but a playground for extreme views on either side. Better to stay in the squared circle where things make sense.

The problem was, your lead announcer can't be a heel and remain effective. I actually think Cole's heel character helped solidify the opinion of 'softer' smark fans seeing the company, not the heel characters as the 'Heel' in every storyline.
I mean, the only thing and this is kind of morbid, that brought Cole back to any kind of credibility is the job he did after Lawler had his heart attack.

I think I like it. I imagine it's better for getting people into the new guys coming through the school than the old ENDVR format.
And I saw them in in the preview, I'm always up for more Power Couple antics
when they're not doing the babyface kiss spot seriously fuck that spot every time except the ending of the last one with mandrews and banks was fun but the setup still sucked I think i've made my point
Definitely a format better suited to exploring character work than the straight laced ENDVR shows. It's an experiment, it does feel like it was once a pilot for one of them yoof shows for C4/ITV/BBC though. Or its angling to be picked up. I think it's a positive with PROGRESS's definite focus on characters when it comes to people coming from the ProJo.
And yeah jesus that spot needs to go away now. Especially with Eddie Dennis, he makes it look way too erm, threatening. I don't wanna cheer that at all.
No doubt. I'm not really sure if WWE is interested in making another Goldberg or Taker though.
