+1 for this. My posting frequency is the direct opposite of Swol's. It's not worth commenting in a relatively small thread when one person is such a relentless dick all the time. I agree with him on some stuff but I'd rather jam a pen into my brain through my eye than engage in a discussion with him.

Can't say I disagree. I kinda stopped posting here because this thread just seems toxic. And seeing post shitting on Respawn and the developers just seems rude as hell. If you don't like the game, the direction they went in, etc. etc. drop the game and find something else? If you want the game to improve, offer constructive criticism. And hopefully over time things work out.

I've posted detailed criticisms with not a smudge of condescension or any type of "dick" mode within it. It was either barely engaged or completely ignored and that's fine but don't pretend this place was anything more than a few people with problems and the rest of you saying "nuh uh look at this cool clip" like most of Reddit is now.

If anything the people that care the most about the game were driven away, hence what Reddit has turned into. Also, I rarely, if ever, flat out attacked devs. Some rants, sure, born out of frustration and lack of communication/meaningful tweaks but never a flat out attack like the couch guy did.

In the end they'll do whatever the hell they wanna do. The tone of the discussion won't matter.

I don't want to speak for any others, but I personally find it hard to believe that you actually believe having an angry, offended tone constantly doesn't change how likely it is other people would engage in discussions with you.

As a person with a lot of tone time, I do think she is still a little too good. I have been enjoying ion and legion a lot though. Tone in a real competent players hands though can be a nightmare. Had a Lts game on colony where the whole team was Northstar s though, that sucked bad.

Doesn't seem like Respawn dudes visit this thread anymore and i'm partly to blame for that, i know.... i still spent $$$ on the recent dlc stuff so fucking whatever man =)

Anyways, some fixes that would go a long way but i'm sure we will not see for months or ever.

This is a quick list of fixes that would go a long way in making the game that much better, if these people weren't so stubborn and implemented them we could all celebrate.

Not being sensitive, just tired of coming to the thread after seeing a bump expecting some actual news or conversation about the game only to see it being crapped up by the same person over and over again. EPG and Fast Regen can make some nice speed boosts more often than expected. Reminds me of Quake Rocket Jumping in a sense, only with 8 times the possibility of blowing yourself up

I would kind of like the regeneration challenges back, some of them were a pain but it gave you a reason to change guns and titans and something to play for.

I've enjoyed the game and can pick it up if I have friends on but it's not a game I'll play on my own.

Yes those were cool, but the gun and titan generations somehow make up for it. I'm trying to level up all weapons at a similar rate, and it's a good way to try and master all weapons (I'm gen 3 on all of them now, except for the new R101).
It's only a pain when having to play Tone to level it up. (sorry but I still think it's the most boring to play, really a one-trick pony since it's all about lock-on and missiles).

I thought I missed it as yeah, it forced you to change up your play-style, but as Alx said... you can just sort of do that anyway and there's now rewards for it instead of just a little icon

People don't care. What's there to engage with? You're right about all the issues, it's just no one cares since they're having fun.

On PS4 the game is populated across the world. On Xbox it is dead outside of NA and UK just like the console itself. I have no problem finding games in Asia across a lot of modes since I moved to PS4.

Yeah the 40MM was my favorite as well in the first game. I still play tone quite a bit, but feel she needs another small nerf, but if they dont its not the end of the world at the same time. When I play Ion if I can keep track of her tracking locks I can usually beat one pretty easily, its when you lose track of that you can get eaten up really quick.

Doesn't unfortunately, just a HUD warning and (maybe) a subtle pulse of noise, but the warning is big enough to notice.

Yeah I played with a sick Ion last night, watching him after I died (lol) was pretty impressive.

I agree that Tone definitely feels weaker and I'm fine with her where she is. I've mucked around leveling other Titans after playing only Tone up until a month or so ago, and going back to Tone she definitely doesn't feel as powerful as she used to. I can't just skate with Tone any more, have to put a little more thought into things.

On a side note, I shouldn't have waited so long to try other Titans (or maybe it's good that I did since they're better balanced now), because damn they're all pretty fun.

In my experience, shotgun does much more burst damage, so if you're doing hit and run stuff, shotgun is the way to go. If you're engaging someone in a straight up fight, use shotgun if you can hit their crit spot, otherwise it's up to you. I think shotgun does slightly more damage if you can hit every shot, but melee has a bigger hit box if you're up close, so it might be more consistent.

Makes him a pain in the ass to deal with in Bounty Hunt, just when you think he's toast, surprise Nuke Eject from them kills the bounty titan...

I don't think arc nades are as bad as they were in TF1. Spamming nades in TF1 was way worse, especially since it seemed like everyone had way more of them.

I actually don't mind them considering how shitty the maps are and how fast you can cap flags. For example colony going downhill is absurd. It's such a fast cap i'm thankful arc nades are there to at least attempt to stop those runs.

I can only imagine a year from now when everyone is 100% on all the routes, especially the grapplers.....CTF will be so defensive for fears of sub 4 second caps.

I barely play right now. I will most definitely jump ship for Destiny 2 (if they do the pvp right)

Sentries and Ticks need to GO. They have nothing to add to the sandbox, only add more clutter to the maps.
