I'm only on the first episode and I'm loving it. I'm glad to hear the quality increases, but I think episode one is great on its own.
I'm enjoying the first episode more now that I can tell who is saying what without looking. Getting the voices separated in my mind was the first challenge. Then keeping up with the riffs, which is also much easier after fourteen episodes of it.

I just finished the first episode. Pretty good so far, don't like how they just fire off the jokes one after another though. The biggest change I'll have to get used to is Gypsy actually being voiced by a woman this time.

It's a bummer that it's not coming to Netflix Japan, especially since it's the only reason I signed back up a little while back. It might be the only Netflix production that we've not gotten over here. I'm surprised since we get the Chappelle specials, Trailer Park Boys, etc.--it must just be a licensing thing.

Is there really no other legal way for me to watch this?

I've always liked that The Land That Time Forgot movie....

I'm not sure if you can get it on VHX if you weren't a backer on Kickstarter.

Can you do a free thirty day trial on a Netflix US account? Or is Netflix too smart for that? I don't know how these things work. :/

Just finished episode 2. Fairly convinced the first episode mostly suffered from nervous energy, because every issue I had before has, more or less, lessened. Really excited to watch more, but I'm too tired for my brain to fully absorb more jokes tonight.

I always skipped the sketch bits between the movie commentary of the old show, so it's neat watching the new version's sketches in between. I'm halfway through the first episode, really glad this is back!

(I know what I said is blasphemy, but just being honest, haha.)

I don't think it's a big deal. Some people never liked the host segments. To each their own.

Why are there commercial bumpers on this? Are they planning on airing on TV later?

I loved the segments. Someone stitched all the segments together and uploaded them to YouTube (separated per season). I've seen Seasons 0, 1 and 8-10.

Probably just a way to emulate the feel of the original show and give us a breather. I definitely need it with the fast pace of the first two episodes.

Though I did have a hearty laugh at
Bigfoot being surprised the kid made it out of the caves alive

A lot of people hated the segments. I felt like it was almost split between most fans I knew.
For me it varies wildly from segment to segment. Some I adored and loved watching, some I was just sitting there counting the seconds until the movie resumed.

Joel said it has to do with Kinga's desire to be popular and sell her brand.

I just noticed the house band is playing songs Joel and the bots performed in old episodes.

EDIT: During the ad breaks the band is playing "Creepy Girl":

During the closing credits of at least one episode they are playing the sidehackers song.

Some songs from the Mike era too. I've heard the Canada song, and the earth song from the final episode.

Think the Tom Servo chorus song is in there as well.

Suikoguy

I whinny my fervor lowly, for his length is not as great as those of the Hylian war stallions
Episode 2 was much better than 1.

Great running jokes and nonsensical movie.

I also agree that the host segments are very hit and miss, and have been throughout the series.

Hate to nitpick, but I don't like that "pushing the button" to cut the signal doesn't use the old sound from earlier seasons.

Otherwise, I'm liking what I'm seeing so far. Looking forward to watching the other episodes.

Was watching episode 2 with my GF and she turned to me and said "This is just awful" D:

I think episode 3 is better but I kind of have to agree. This isn't even the same type of humor as the original show. And it's not the spacing between jokes either, they're just talking too fast and fitting in dialogue where it doesn't fit. And these three just seem more awkward than Mike, Bill, and Kevin. They were better at that sarcastic tone.

In the middle of the first episode. The pacing is giving me a headache.

It's good to hear it calms down but so far it's just way too fast.

Also I need to feel the friendship between the cast in the future. They don't seem to really interact at all or talk to each other yet.

It's a weirdly slow build, but episode 2 quelled most of my concerns and they were basically gone by the time I settled into ep 3. More back and forth between the SOL and the mads, more goofing around between everyone, stronger characterization of the bots, and the episode 2 movie is way weirder and lines up with the new guys' pacing and humor style more in my opinion.

I mean, Harmon is on the writing staff. The rapid fire stuff isn't that surprising to me.

Watch Da Birdie

I buy cakes for myself on my birthday it's not weird lots of people do it I bet
Watching the first episode and I notice a lot of times they riff on something half-a-second before it pops on screen, it sort of bugs me but otherwise it's pretty good so far.

Loved the Twin Peaks reference.

Watched the first episode, and it felt just like a solid but not first class episode of the original series. There were definitely some moments where the jokes were coming too fast, but otherwise, the pacing was great, a lot of the jokes landed, and the host segments were fun. The robot voices did feel off at times, but I'll probably get used to it.

I loved the first episode, so I'm glad to hear the second is even better. I turned on captions and it made it even funnier because I could then keep up with the jokes.

Only watched the first episode but my wife and I really enjoyed it. She didnt like the older series because of how the jokes were so spread out, so she loves this!

Watching through episode 2 now. WILDERNESS!!!

Edit: its weird watching the "cave" areas in Cry Wilderness because its at Griffith Park and I've visited it many times.
