You can watch the whole thing in Hulu. Everything up to the current manga arc is already animated.

Seems like it's to promote the manga...but...um...dafuq...I can't even attempt to logically explain or defend it. I'd be fine with the existence of it if it wasn't so offensive. They couldn't even get the Slann encounter right.

I wanna own the series on BD since it's one I would love to lend out to people so they can discover it as well (though I guess you could say I could just tell them to watch it on Hulu). But considering I own 7/10 of the manga, I wouldn't mind reading it just to see if anything was done slightly different/how it was originally presented, especially since it doesn't seem as though we'll get a volume 11.

About that...unless the US publisher decides not to bring it over we're getting a new volume right now. It's picked back up again.

If I remember right, they approached every major studio to make the Berserk anime, but they all refused because they didn't think they had enough skill or budget to do it right.

It's, um, kind of ironic in retrospect.

So they just got a guy that did loli anime to do it. No wonder why Schierke is the only character that isn't uber fucked up looking.

I've always heard similar reasoning for why Vagabond never got an anime, so it's probably a thing for every manga with exceptional art.

...Berserk just got unlucky.

I think they were just better off doing nothing, this is like...worse than sock puppet tier. I don't know if it's because my stream is fucking 360p, but gat damn this ep is bad looking.

Hmmm, Shigurui manga had some really awesome art and it had a good adaptation.
