Twinblast is broken as hell. Blinkshot + Hemmorage + crit *swoon*. And you can swap the blinkshot with stasis if you need that instead.
Twin is definitely number one right now but Rev is up there in about 2nd.
Anyways to the above I add this:

I wonder if the quote means they got rid of the centaur looking part
Happy Birthday GraveRobberX. May your day be full of platinums.
This is exactly what I was thinking due to the quote associated with the picIt's totally possible they repurpossed it (or at least its upper half) for the new hero though.
Never help to double up information over here for new players lurking :]Just started playing a bit more lately, but I'm still a bit confused about the card system. Last time I played I had to manually purchase cards at base like Dota (I've got a couple thousand hours in Dota so I compare most stuff to it) but now I seem to just automatically be given cards from my deck? I only just unlocked the deck builder so I'll check it out more tonight.
Also I'm still a bit confused about slotting upgrades into cards. When do these come into effect each game? You equip a card, and then as you get more experience WITH that card equipped you unlock the upgrades? Or am I totally off base? I played 4-5 co-op games vs the AI last night and felt like I had no idea what I was doing with the cards. The game feels better than ever to play though, I've jumped on for a match every few months since I got the beta and this is the first time I've felt like wanting to play more the next day.
EDIT: A kind fellow on Reddit helped me out, so I think I understand the system better now!
Wish I could see the loot explosion stream live but alas.
So much rep and materials in the diamond chests. Oh man, I think I may end up saving them myself and hope for a change. Though I don't know if the contents of the chests are determined at acquisition or as you open them.
Thanks for letting us know what you got, I was actually counting the days for this haha.
For Science!
Voice acting is said to be coming to the game someday right?
I love how douchey this guy sounds, adds to the personality.

Yup, VO is on the list of things coming. Don't know when. I'll say that I've played builds of the game where it was in and it's pretty cool. Can't wait for them to finalize everything, but it could be a ways off; there's a lot of other work that's higher on the priority list. Enjoy the bits you're getting in the trailers, though!
Okay, he looks cool as hell and his abilities are pretty slick. When will he be ready to play? Tuesday?
Did they ever fully overhaul the card system? I remember after they combined elemental and physical power they said they had a full revamp in the works. I stopped playing then waiting for it to happen. Did it?
Not yet, early August with the Uber Balance Patch that shifts the meta around
So we are getting Patch 41 this week with Wraith
"Adjutments to certain Heroes"
Then 5 weeks leading up to first week in August for Patch 42 for the good stuff
Balance and huge updates happens every 9 Weeks, after 3 Hero Releases
Also Monolith is also going to get a facelift also
Patch is always ##.#, so we got to slog through 41-41.5
They'll start talking about it in Mid-July after the Hero in the middle of the month releases, then its Card rework + Monolith Update + Balance Patch on Heroes + other shenanigans (hoping for Reputation store!)
sounds good. I hope they won't stop the regular updates after releasing Fortnite. Not yet, early August with the Uber Balance Patch that shifts the meta around

Meh. Back on the backburner it goes then.
No interest in learning a meta that's about to be completely upended.
That's the funnest part of the game for me.
It's always changing.
I like when games like this, or MMORPGs change things around. Some of my best times were testing out new abilities in FFXI, or Path of Exile. Though for the cards, it took me a long time to learn how to use those based on the situation during the game.
Yeah, I just don't like wasting time learning stuff that radically changes. Like all the time I spent perfecting my ganking techniques pre-Monolith was completely wasted. I too like balance changes and such, but when they completely re-do big parts of the game that turns me off.
When they combined energy and physical damage that was a huge change. I'm expecting the card changes to be huge as well. That sort of thing... shouldn't happen quite so often. Maybe once a year. Maybe.
Really I'm just waiting for it to become more stable. I don't like wasting my time learning skills and strategies that are quickly rendered obsolete.
I don't understand why we get so much reputation and can use it on so little. We should be able to use that to buy emotes or flags. Hell, let me buy a skin for 700,000 reputation or something idk.
I know multiple people that have over a million lol, what do?
