July Wrasslin' |OT| All this G1 talk is making me Climax.

Itami is trying to book a flight home and Kairi is avoiding Nak for convincing her to come to this baka country

I think that's Tozawa.

But on the note of Itami, I actually really like what they are doing with him right now. His aggressive heel character is working and his match with Ohno on last night's NXT was pretty good.

Yup, I saw it last week too. Many feels were felt.

I haven't watched it yet but Fight Club: PRO made one for Nixon Newell.

Nixon Newell: First Female of Fight Club

So sad Nixon got injured. She would have been great in the MYC.

Can't wait till she recovers and we see her next year.

Itami's hurt 0 bodyparts in a full month, this is literally the best he's been in 3 years

"Future champion" I can see the ISEC writing right now about this legendary moment

How does the saying go?

Those who know nothing about the Civil War think it was about slavery. Those who know a little about the Civil War think it was about State's Rights. Those who studied the Civil War know it was about slavery.

Not a lot stuck with me from high school, but one of the most vivid memories I have is my history teacher presenting the Civil War as "most people think it was about slavery, but it was actually about state's rights." It wasn't until college that I got smartened up. I guess that's the result of living in a 99.9% white community.

There was legitimately one time where WWE.com posted (in a regular recap of Raw) the phrase ISEC (Internet Sports Entertainment Community), and I don't care if it's long since been deleted, I'm never ever forgetting such hysterical beauty no matter what

Dolph Ziggler was supposed to compete against Seth Rollins before Kane was coerced into taking his spot, but you didn’t really think Dolph Ziggler would deprive the WWE Universe of Dolph Ziggler, right? Taking a page out of his old teammate John Cena’s playbook, The Showoff issued an open challenge that ended up being answered by England’s own former NXT Champion Neville.

The two workhorses did not disappoint, clashing in a dream match the likes of which even the most fervent corners of the Internet Sports-Entertainment Community didn’t think would happen for another few months. Neville’s breathtaking 450 Splash off the barricade seemingly handed him the win on a platter, though experience ultimately won out when a reeling Ziggler evaded the Red Arrow and hit the Zig Zag for the victory. Sheamus immediately spoiled the party, pulverizing Neville with one Brogue Kick and, after a vicious scrap with The Showoff outside the ring, taking Ziggler down with another.

The problem with bringing up Asuka is that it's impossible to book Asuka in any way other than "immediately wins the title and never loses" the same as she's booked in NXT. The Bayley/Sasha storyline would be a bit random without the title being involved, or someone just going over Asuka.

Heel champion doing everything possible to avoid having a match with her. Sasha preferably. In the mean time, Asuka just destroys everyone in the division until mania where she finally gets the title.

But it'll probably be her debuting and winning the title in the same segment cause that's how wwe does shit

One of the cool thing about the G1 is all the different areas they are at.

I've been following NJPW long enough now that a good amount of the time I can identify where they're at just by looking at the arena. They pretty much run the same buildings at the same exact events every year.

Non-spoiler question about the MYC.

Did they tape the semifinals already and only the finals will be Sept. 12th? Or is it finals and semifinals then?

One surprise is they did not use Mandy Rose for the tournament. She the only female talent left that is not in the Mae Young or officially debuted for NXT.
