I mean, sure. Maybe I phrased that incorrectly. What I'm saying is that Batman is still the star of this team up film, meanwhile WW has proven herself and is being pushed to the background.

I'm a WW stan. I just wanna see more of her :p I will also wait for the film before passing judgment.

It doesn't sound like being pushed into the background

Sounds like she is made the "heart" of the team and has a solid relationship w/ Bruce and Cyborg.

Seems pretty safe which is what the DCEU needs. Wonder Woman was a pretty by the books story and it's been one of my favorite CMB this year. I'm cautiously optimistic.

I have no idea who those are 😟😅

...Did I misread or what that whole "Unite the Seven" campaign pointless since there's only six Justice League members (assuming this is all true)?

Hard to tell. When written out that way it seems pretty by the numbers - but probably any movie does when cut down to 8 sentences.

At some point she says he needs to stop grieving for his parents, and he tells her she doesn’t have room to talk when she ran away from the world for a hundred years because her boyfriend died.
Haha dang! Going at it aren't you Batman?
I imagine Bats and WW bickering like in the Justice League episode were they get turned into kids
That was one of my favorite episodes so I hope it is like that!

all along would explain so much. I'm not even joking.

Imagine if none of what has happened was real? Imagine if it was some kind of Granny Goodness mind shit and they all are on Apokalypse?

Mind blown.

Bruce's visions are his mind becoming aware that what he is seeing isn't real.

I feel that or flash point is the only way to save this movie universe honestly.

So far from what I'v read JL sounds pretty lame.

I'll wait and see it in theaters before final judgement though.

Ok what is the deal with the DC universe not understanding how to handle their superheros actually being heroes and saving people

Flash treating saving the family in the car as some contest with superman? Wtf?
like how about just worry about saving people......

Also the end confrontation sounds super underwhelming.

It's sad because the comic this movie is obviously based on (the first arc of New 52 Justice League), had a far better scene with Flash and Superman working together to save people in the ocean, and it was done in such a way that both Superman and Flash were capable of doing it just as well.

That sounds like something Flash from the animated series would do.

I guess I don't see anything wrong with it

It reminds me of the banter in LoTR where they are counting their kills.

If it's true that Whedon was responsible for most of the Superman stuff in this leak, they really should have kept Snyder's Supes. This is straight up boring and now we have the same problems as the Avengers where stakes seem incredibly low considering 90% the heroes are cracking one-liners and having competitions instead of focusing at the task on hand.

The marketing thread, this thread. Wonder Woman deja vu.

JL won’t be received nearly as well, but maybe one day we’ll learn not to be so dramatic about this stuff.

Seriously. Hitting the reset button on him and Batman is exactly what is needed.
They aren't resetting either. Superman shrugged off his mopeyness before he died and his death inspired Batman to do better.

Call it clumsy if you must but it's there. The point of Justice League is that they are better together than as solo acts.

I think those are entirely different scenarios and the if the writing inspiration came from that then the writers fundamentally misunderstood the distinction between banter in regards to killing your enemy and that of saving innocent people who are in peril.

I don't mind being similar to The Avengers. Honestly from a financial and studio perspective it makes perfect sense too. Also I noticed that the climax seems to involve Atlanteans and Amazons teaming-up, at least if some shot images are anything to go by. That's cool! That Superman line is cringe-worthy though.

Sounds like a Marvel movie really.

It'll be successful, well-received, and well-like then.

Wonder Woman and Cyborg are pretty similar to Black Widow and Hulk, without the romantic aspect. He's scared of the scope of his powers. He's getting stronger and doesn't know why.

Why is this the direction they are going with cyborg? It's a common trope with there sorts of films, but this has got to be the oddest use of it I've ever seen. I get that he is powered by a Mother box or whatever, but yeah, it just seems like a bizarre direction to go in trying to give him a hook or personality trait when he's just a cyborg. There isn't much mysterious to him.

Pretty much. It's a gag used a billion times. Legolas killing an elephant etc. the 1up gag is all of a sudden bad now because D.C. Does it
