No second analog, no charging dock and retina display @ 2m viewing distance tells me to wait for the 3DSi in 12-18 months.

bet the speakers are crap

and it's obvious they made this because the dudes at sega were like we didn't make a real project diva because the 3ds screen is too small

If the D-Pad is better then I'm day 1.

Not a big fan of the hard press/clickiness of the current 3DS. Makes VVVVVV more difficult than it would be if I played with a GBA Micro D-Pad for example.

oh dang, nice. I might bite then, trade in 3DS and get it done. Just wish it was smaller heh
Actually, if you want to transfer all your stuff to this new 3DS, you might need to hold on to your old 3DS until you do a complete system transfer via System menu.

I wish Capcom said we're not making MH4 until you include a built in second analog. I mean they're bound to release a new CC Pro... I hope.

Man that screen issue is starting to bug me....how bad will it look? Will have to see some demos in person I think

What?!!!! Haha I love how they denied it just a few weeks ago. Not sure I'll upgrade unless there's a smaller version, but still great for those who prefer XL. :d

No AC adapter? What!?
Kinda' ugly. Not too surprised it doesn't have a second stick -- they're kinda' in too deep to reverse that decision.

Just bought a used 3DS since E3 failed to give any indication this would happen. I could return it, but I'll just keep it.

I like how Nintendo purposefully makes the first version of their handheld small and ugly as shit so early adopters purchase the new one.

But the first DS was bigger than the DS Lite D:

Don't really see the big deal about this, it's just a bigger screen with the same resolution so it's not like games are going to look better on it

They're both ugly designs

Yikes, that res is going to look like shit next to a Vita.

I still might get one, I'll have to see it in person though. In my opinion the current 3DS was already kind of iffy resolution-wise.

I wonder if it's coming out any time soon. Maybe holiday season in the US?

Hey guys, I don't get it. If I purchase a brand-new 3DS LL and haven't owned a DSi or 3DS before... HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO CHARGE IT?

I'm thinking this will multiplayer in Kid Icarus a little easier on the eyes. Wish the resolution had a bump but whatevs.

there's ALWAYS ONE
I really wish the 3DS store had accounts. I know I can transfer my games over, but that means I can't use the money from selling my original 3DS to buy the XL.

Ugh, I need to see how DS games would play on this thing. If it's any worse I'll be buying a used DS XL.
I'm hoping some sort of magic will make DS games actually look good on this thing so I don't need to buy an XL.

Well, I hope part of the reason they didn't move Start/Select is because they plan a more streamlined Circle Pad Pro that lets you, I dunno, fold the second stick out and over the empty space under the buttons. I wanted those buttons moved half for comfort's sake, and half so they could stop treating Select as a damn mirror of Start.

Playing DS games on the 3DSLL in 1:1 mode will let you play games larger than a normal 3DS, and crisply.

EDIT: Iwata said the adapter will be sold separately from now on. I think he also said the adapter will be removed from the normal 3DS too, but I wasn't paying full attention at that point.

I actually quite like the design. Glad they got rid of the fugly two-color scheme for the different screens.

I'd like less round edges but I'll deal.
