The game is completed. The game was scheduled to be released in february. Ubisoft had Nintendo publicizing the game and giving it added exposure as a showcase title of its new platform. People pre-ordered the game. The team worked through crunch time to finish the game in time for the scheduled release. How are you surprised that people, common users are not too empathic towards the managements side of this whole ordeal and instead side with the devs in the wish that the game should be released? What's really surprising is how so many chose to be understanding of the business side of this decision ignoring that people expectations were thwarted. Ubisoft is not a charity, they want profit and revenue and this delay was to maximize marketing expenses, but one could very aptly argue that this whole debacle is more harmful to Rayman as an IP and Ubisoft as a publisher as it will certainly affect their bottom line. Someone with some good sense could have predict this all along.
