Do we know when the Borderlands sale ends? I'm trying to grab a digital copy for my 2nd PS3, but the web store and the PS3 store both are giving me a hard time logging in....and I really don't want to miss the deal. Anyone else having trouble getting into the store?

Edit: I got it to work eventually, but that was a pain in the ass. The web store seems really slick, does it usually work well?

Since the store's still down for maintenance it might be effectively over unless they bring it back up before doing the weekly change-over.

When are we getting out 10 dollars? I got stiffed on the last two free gifts and when I got psn + full year subscription and avatars (lol) I got nothing... :'(

Anyways I just want my SS demo so I can finally understand WTF I played in Japanese a few months ago.

Will buy Dragon Fantasy. They also updated the graphics to 16-bit, and you can even switch to 8-bit almost on the fly. Really cool. I think they also added a dungeon to chapter 2, cause it was the shortest chapter from what I read. This released as an iOS game a year or so ago.

Book II looks so much better, and will buy that day 1 too.

Grace Chen is some kind of sorceress, feeding off the life force of all the hours spent by people waiting at their PS3s and Vitas for the store to update. This is simply the only logical explanation for why Sony hasn't gotten their shit together on a consistent weekly update time.

(Though the maintenance this week is an alright excuse)

Demo, Dragon Fantasy, Chinatown Wars on dat OLED for me. I already have VCS, LCS, and San Andreas on PS2, but very tempting to get the former two to play on Vita.

Seriously though, this shit is unacceptable. How can there not be a static update time? If you ran a physical store (and assuming not some trendy, kitschy junk), you would be out of business if you ran your storefront with hours like SEN store.

Sony better get their shit together for PS4 because for a company that seems to be making a hard push to digital, their level of service here is fucking ridonkulous.

Wish there was a Castlevania sale, want to get Dracula X Chronicles for my main account. Had it and a dozen plus other psp games on my old account but long story short I'm an idiot and stopped using that account for silly reasons. Wish Sony would allow account mergers or transfer my games :/

I'm not normally one to go after people's jobs, but every other store seems to manage to update in a timely and consistent manner. Grace Chen seriously needs to go if she can't even keep a consistent schedule.

She's almost certainly just the face for them, the problem's likely deeper and I'd expect/hope it'd be fixed by changing how they handled it without actually firing anyone, IE belting it out Monday, having it fully done, then just automatically go up at 3 PM or whenever. Though if you did that I'd rather it updated at 6 AM or something.

Are you Canadian? It seems that we got screwed on conversion rates without any prior warning that that would happen. I spent $100.91 but Sony says I spent $99.81. In this Playstation community thread the vast majority of people who didn't get their money are Canadian.

They need to start working on Monday instead of Tuesday to get the stuff at midnight Tuesday if they want their day 1 digital stuff to be taken seriously.

I mentioned this in the Vita thread but Sony really need to start adding 1 extra day to their release dates internally so we can all be pleasantly surprised when it comes out at 11PM the night before. This whole last minute thing does them no favours from a PR point of view.

I wouldn't even mind waiting each week until 8 or 9PM CST (almost 7 now) so long as I knew the update was going to happen at that time each week. This is shameful and it is embarrassing for them, to be frank.

um, but they've been supposedly trying to do just that for the last few years. & they seem to be incapable of doing so :) ...

I seriously wonder what the hell is going on in there given other regions are fine. Admittedly SOMEONE probably needs the axe or to be shuffled elsewhere, I just wouldn't pin it on Grace Chen just because it's her name we see with the updates.

Looking forward to checking out the SS demo. I've watched a coupla YouTube videos of the Japanese version and it looks pretty cool, although I still have no idea of what it really is. Sometimes it looks like a character action brawler game, and sometimes it looks kinda Monster Hunter-ish. At any rate, seems like it'll be ffun...

agreed. otoh, 3+ years of 'we're working on it' does not reflect well on the person in charge of this (or anything else, for that matter), whoever the fuck that person actually is. i mean, try it at your job sometime & see what happens :) ...

That's a fair point, I never really thought about it. I guess it's easy to blame the person who's name shows up on everything.
