Can't wait till Woody gets home. Gonna be meltdowns no matter what happens.

Is it for Cesc or is it for Garay?

Meltdown for Garay would be better.

But won't be as good as the Redcafe meltdown if it's Fellaini.

It's gonna be a triple swoop for Felliani, Garay and Cesc.

Ok let's do this Arnold:

Now come back and tell me where it says he wants to use Rooney as a bench player. Go ahead I'll wait.
"If for any reason we had an injury to Robin we are going to need Rooney." implies that as a goalscorer Rooney isn't first choice. Rooney wants to be first choice. Rooney's been stropping about not being first choice for half a season now, and Moyes says this.

To answer your question explicitly: in no instance does Moyes state that Wayne Rooney is a substitute. However, David Moyes doesn't make Wayne Rooney sound like a vital cog in the team; he makes him sound like a malleable little tool to be slotted in and moved around to fit the needs of everyone else around him.
Did you read the full article? Moyes clearly said he wants to play the two together.
Not as strikers. Moyes indicates that as a striker RVP is the preferred option, and that in fact Wayne can play much deeper. As a striker Rooney is second fiddle.

It doesn't help that he's the slowest striker ever. I can't overestimate this enough, it can destroy our counter attacks.

I maintain that his flicks are Messi-esque.[/QUOTE]

Oh I love this move!

Quiche isn't ready for the big league.

The jump from the Championship of Believe PC to the Premier League on PS3 is too much for him.

You can take him back PC club.

the thing about Vermaelen is that it might actually force Wenger to buy a back-up defender; it's a bit annoying that it guarantees we won't be selling him during the window because he's a shit player, a shit captain and a liability, but who knows, maybe Wenger's going to spend some money. he did the last time Vermaelen had a long-term injury...

too bad it was on Squillaci :(

Vermaelen's injury is a blessing in disguise.

It allows the masterful Arteta to ascend the captaincy, and draws attention to our frailties at the back. Bad news for our rivals.

Unless Wenger choses to do nothing, if so :lol.

Indeed. Things go much better when Arteta is captain. When Vermaelen is captain OMG....

Vermaelen is just a bad player. I don't know where he got this reputation for being a good defender (I guess he was decent in his first season? I don't really remember) but thankfully the past two seasons seem to have helped shed that reputation. going into the season with just 2 competent center backs is just a disaster waiting to happen.

also has a shit attitude. you're a defender, fucking defend!

Because he scored a lot so people thought he's good. Vertonghen and Ivanovic are like competent Verms.
