1. GUI is XMB 2.0, I love it.
2. There's still a little lagginess on the OS while shifting from game to game. Hope this is addressed, but I can live with it either way as I get it's loading a lot of data and info on the fly.
3. Watched someone else playing live, with a video feed of the person in the top corner.
4. Joined their game from the OS and was in their game in 6 seconds.
5. Posted to Twitter from in-game with a screenshot via the Share button. Very cool.

They mean in regards to the basic bare-bone functionality with the horizontal menu along the top. Plus, it's basically the same as the XMB, rather each XMB menu item has it's contents laid out via a full-page design, instead of vertical icons.

That's what I said on Steam GAF chat when it was happening. They got right into it and stayed on track with nothing but games talk for a while.

There was one troll in there and some were bashing but it was great to watch alongside some gaffers.

The whole tone of the conference was very fun. Tons of games. Many of which are only coming to PS4 (outside of PC).

the joining a game time was very quick. but we dont know if the game was running in the background or not already we've seen before that they can so who knows it might be longer with a fresh boot/play

other than that the interface seems great very sleek I just hope custom wallpapers and dynamic ones make the cut

In this 60fps vid of the UI demo, you can see here that Killzone runs at a variable 60fps, so PS4 streams at 60fps, nice.

I have to be pessimistic here and assume it was suspended, only because he didn't have to choose his class loadout or anything.
