So the ask.fm thing says AS funded Kick Heart, too

Had no clue kick heart was out, an anime about Luchador wrestling doesn't sound bad at all infact sounds very interesting.

How long is it? Will go check it out.

It's about twelve minutes long.

And yes, almost all of the Inuyasha endings are fantastic.

Since I (think I) recall some people mentioning Mirai Nikki, RightStuf is having a contest where you can win Part 1 (episodes 1-13) of the series on DVD.

I also need to watch more Masaaki Yuasa stuff. I've only seen Mind Game and that one scene from Kemonozume that reminds me I should watch that series one of these days.

What date is a new show most likely going to air besides Space Dandy and Naruto? I'm mostly just wondering and hoping they chose something good.

I think SAO is the next show in line to be replaced, should be sometime in January. I'm sure someone more up to date with the schedule will correct me.

Depending on how movie nights in December affect the schedule:

  • Sword Art Online will be ending in early February (confirmed to have a new show replacement)
  • Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood will be ending in late February
  • Soul Eater will be ending in early March (confirmed to have a new show replacement)

Sweet thanks. I'm willing to bet that Titan will be replacing SAO but who knows Toonami has drawn up some surprises. I have no clue what will replace Soul Eater. Maybe either Future Diary, Toriko, or Fairy Tail.

Oh right, I forgot about that. Yeah that should end before Sword Art if it's only being replayed once.

Especially because we shouldn't miss any nights of it even with movies. January 11th would be the final date of the second FLCL run assuming they don't double it up with the extra week or two they may have during the time between the end of the December movies and whenever Space Dandy/Shippuden ends. In theory we could have 3 shows starting the same night.

I don't follow anime/shows NEARLY as much as anyone hear, but does Titan even have a dub or a localization confirmation?

Yeah Funi confirmed they had the rights to AoT pretty much within the first month of the anime simulcasting in Japan, said the dub was coming in 2014. Space Dandy is also being dubbed by Funimation so it's not impossible for AoT dub to premier on Toonami.

*date I put is the week /after/ the show has concluded. i.e. when a new show would start*

  • FLCL has 10* episodes left (assuming only one rerun). That puts its replacement at Jan 18th + however many weeks it misses due to movies.
  • Sword Art Online has 11 episodes left. That puts its replacement coming at Jan 25th + however many weeks it misses due to movies.
  • Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood has 13 episodes left. That puts its replacement, if it has one, at Feb 8th + however many weeks it misses due to movies.
  • Soul Eater has 15 episodes left. That puts its replacement at Feb 22nd + however many weeks it misses due to movies.

FMA and FLCL may not miss time, depending on how the do they movie nights. Who knows. And they could do double ups or whatever.

Are there any movies that could possibly go longer then 2:30 hours on TV that would eat up FLCLs slot? The Eva movies were pretty long already

I doubt it, but I put the '+' addendum just to leave the possibility open in listing potential start dates for new shows.

Maybe they do something weird and air two movies in a night.

True, we've also seen they're willing to skip Clone Wars in case of circumstances like that, honestly I wouldn't be surprised if they do plan to have a 3rd big show to replace FLCL the same week Space Dandy and Shippuden start. Would be a huge PR/ratings boost

Titan would most likely do that. I know alot of people who are Titan fans who could care less about anime as a whole.

Yup. I'm thinking it's AoT as well.

The only issue that makes me hesitate on Attack on Titan is where do you put it? Currently the top half of the line up looks like this

11:30 Space Dandy
12:00 Bleach
12:30 Naruto Shippuden
1:00 One Piece
1:30 Soul Eater
2:00 SAO
2:30 FLCL

Let's just assume for a second the plan is to have FLCL end it's second run a week before SD and NS start and AoT is going to replace it, I would be legit shocked if they'd let such a cash cow sit at the bottom of the line up. I get having SAO later in the night as it's not the traditional shonen money maker but still popular. Ideally I'd probably do something like this

11:30 Space Dandy
12:00 Attack on Titan
12:30 Bleach
1:00 Naruto Shippuden
1:30 One Piece
2:00 Soul Eater
2:30 SAO

Maybe swap Soul Eater and SAO to let SAO continue to air earlier in the night, I do see the value in having a strong premier at the end of the premier block, but at the same time they probably want to stack the shows with the most draw near the top.

Boondocks season 4 is supposed to come out in January right? But it would likely premier on Sunday instead of Saturday in front of Toonami where the Boondocks currently rests I'd assume correct?

If When AoT comes to Toonami I really hope they don't cut the opening themes (especially the first one).

Don't forget Shippuden which could easily pull in a million each night especially with the larger audience Space Dandy will pull in
I'm actually not sure. Naruto fans would have turned out for the beginning of Naruto witch they did but not in large forces. What will make they start coming in large waves to watch the middle of the series.

I wouldn't be surprised if the premier of Attack on Titan accrued as much as 2 million.
That would be great, more money for Toonami.
