The specs are garbage for the price, good luck running anything well down the line. At $500 you're better off with a console as this one doesn't even dual boot.

But it still is bullshit, no matter how long you have been repeating it.

While a complete failure, the 3DO didn't have anything in common with these Steam Machines.
And let me be clear, I'm not being defensive about anything right here.
You could even argue that in some way the 3DO was even better, as at least it was much more clear what kind of hardware it was going to be, but the point is: it didn't have ANYTHING in common with what Valve is doing, so this forced comparison is completely meaningless.

Now, if you said "I'm getting Phantom vibes by this Steam Machines" you could at least have a point, as there were actually things in common.
