Only 3, and all of those teams Ole Miss lost too are currently in the AP 25. Ole Miss beat a very good Texas team by 3 TD's. That's an 8 TD swing from last year. Ole Miss is the real deal, they are only cursed being in the strongest conference and division in the nation.

Betting if Stanford hadn't lost, they'd be out there, unless they already went to Stanford.

It was going to be at FSU/Clemson unless Clemson lost last week. They had heavily hinted at it all week, and it's the 8pm ABC game. If gameday was at Stanford, Herbie would've needed to fly completely across the country to Clemson to do the game.

There is absolutely zero chance USC, Notre Dame, FSU, Clemson, Stanford, Oregon, UCLA, Arizona State, Texas A&M, and Louisville lose this week. They're all going to go undefeated and are probably the best college teams in the past 20 years.

Really, really, butt clenchingly scared for Thursday night. Only 4-5 against UNC since we joined the ACC and more importantly 1-3 on their home field. It's a game we should win by 20+ but I just have a bad, bad feeling.

Kiffin coming to Knoxville

Folks take this for what its worth. A friend of mine here in Atlanta called me a few minutes ago and told me ESPN has hired Kiffin and it will be announced this week. In fact possibly as soon as Monday. Their plans are to have him in Charlotte this week doing the ESPNU stuff and if all goes well they are planning to send him to Knoxville as part of a three man team to do the Carolina-Tennessee game. My friend knows a broadcaster at ESPN this I know for a fact. He supposdly found out this morning when he called Bristol to get his schedule for the coming week. Tennessee is aware of this and has expressed concerns for security. Guys I might be getting set up here so I repeat take it for what its worth and if Kiffin shows up in Knoxville on Sat. you heard it here first.

Southern Cal @ ND is definitely the hardest game to pick this week. There are just so many question marks. U-Dub @ ASU is pretty though to pick too.
