Need a new DS3 controller...don't have the money. Oh well.
I've been watching this on Netflix. It's phenomenal.
Hey GAF...is this a good deal on an external HDD?

89.99 for a toshiba 1.5 TB
You could have gotten a Seagate 3 TB hard drive on black friday for $10 more.

Hey Rob did you ever sort out a coffee maker? Saw some pretty cheap Keuigs at Target the other day.BIG FAT ASS DUD so far for me.
I think you'd be surprised. This is a silly question, but do people generally fill up their 3 TB hard drives? That sounds insane to me.

Any decently powerful laptops on sale? I don't have one, but I wouldn't mind one...
lol figures. Nothing is that price today though...so is that a good deal?
The best stuff I've seen is still in the pipeline for later today as Amazon lightning deals: PS3 bundles, Vita memory cards, cheap RAM and SSDs.No 'deals' anywhere. Extremely disappointing so far. $199 to $179 is not a super 'deal' or 'doorbuster' in the slightest.
Keep us posted on a lightning deal for an SSD please. I'd love to get one out of this but all the deals so far seem to well you know kind of totally suck.
I've heard that Crucial is to be outright avoided for SSDs, is that wrong? What do you consider a good deal?
M4s are still stupid cheap: http://www.microcenter.com/product/...lid_State_Drive_(SSD)_with_Marvell_Controller

Essentially I'd say $150 after rebate was a great deal for a 256, and under 100 a good deal for a 128. How does this one strike you guys? http://www.amazon.com/dp/B006EKJCWM/?tag=neogaf0e-20

Nothing we haven't already seen for black friday though. Cyber Monday really is just a tack on.

Crucial RAM is really good, I've not heard anything bad about their SSDs.Keep us posted on a lightning deal for an SSD please. I'd love to get one out of this but all the deals so far seem to well you know kind of totally suck.

Can't even remember, honestly. Willing to chalk it up to somebody not knowing what they were talking about, if there's no consensus on that. SSDs are just not at all my area of expertise, I don't know who to trust or what makes a good deal in this case. I haven't been following them, because until eeeehhhhhhhhright nowish, they've been cost-prohibitive for me.Where did you hear that? I bought a 256GB Crucial M4 couple days ago.
I also have a Crucial SSD (that I bought specifically due to high reviews). Unless they've gone downhill in the past year, they're still good. Mine has worked flawlessly so far.
Some Blu-Ray's are 50gb each. If you keep all your BR's ripped to disc, it doesn't take very long to hit 3TB.
3TB of pornnnnnnnnnn
The 3TB ones will be $100 again. Even at their normal price of $130ish, that's still a better price per GB than a 1.5tb drive for $90
You guys probably don't realize but there are two types of external HDDs. The 3TB one is a Desktop external HDD which means you still have to plug it in the wall as well as your computer (hate those). This one is a Portable external HDD. Which means it gets all the power it needs from the USB socket (these are always more expensive). I just bought a 3TB Portable HDD from BestBuy for $130 which is a very good deal. You could have gotten a Seagate 3 TB hard drive on black friday for $10 more.

So is the kindle fire at 129 the best deal for a tablet? I am thinking about getting it, any objections?
