We have one near to the KFC in the shit hole of South Yorkshire i live in. It's been there about 6 months.

My main focus was always going to be GTA5, Red Dead and other Rockstar games, but there isn't too much exciting come out of them, so I've kinda just been throwing shit at the wall and seeing what sticks. I put up some Breath of the Wild videos that have got a ton of views, I did some E3 coverage, and now I'm getting a ton of views thanks to Marvel Infinite and Dragon Ball FighterZ. Plus my Zelda, GTA and Red Dead vids still continue to get a bunch of views.
I've managed to get almost 1500 subs at this point and my vids consistently hit anywhere from a couple hundred views to a couple thousand to 100k+. So the monetization thing is all over the place, but it's been fairly solid since I started in February.
I'm probably being way too optimistic with my 5 figures goal by the end of the year, but I'm aiming high and we'll see what happens.
I'm following the lead of my friend who lived down the street from me and started a youtube channel by just playing his favorite games, uploading guides on stuff he was good at, giving his thoughts on subjects he was knowledgable on... nothing crazy, nothing fake, nothing clickbaity.
7 years later he has 5 million subs and a lambo.
2013 NJPW was the start of this new boom period yet it just doesn't exist anywhere except with pirates.
It's such a shame.
