Marvel's Daredevil S2 *Spoiler Thread* |OT| Elektra Boogaloo - March 18th on Netflix

The whole trying to sell understand porn kind of came out of nowhere and was edgy for the sake of being edgy. I'm liking Bernthal though.

Just starting E3,

This is a whole lot of fun.
Fights
are less impressive than the first season so far, but still good. Story is refreshingly quick tho.

Thought the opening scene of the season was goofy, but I understood what they were trying to do (a "day in the life"). Everything after was on-point. Bernthal is amazing as Frank so far.

"Bang." (shoots Matt in the helmet)

Even with the obvious cuts and edits the fight sequence at the end of episode 3 was spectacular, outdid the hallway sequence from season 1 tenfold.

The stunt coordinator deserves some major fucking props.

I think it was goofy intentionally. We're all watching like, yeah I've seen this campy hero stuff before, and then later in the ep shit hits the goddamn fan.

Holy hell, episode 3!! Amazing episode, and hands down my favorite of the series so far. Everything on the rootop between Frank and Matt is fantastic. Seeing Claire again is great. That fight scene though, I didnt think they could top the hallway fight but they did. Obviously there are cuts but the whole thing is just badass!

Just wait on the fights. I have a feeling you're going to change your mind.

Punisher is officially my favorite character. on ep4 and cant wait to hear his backstory.

EDit: and here i thought they were done with the Irish in ep 1 lol

Is reyes a Comic character? she's filling in that stereotypical "I'm a bitch" role pretty nicely in EP2.

Also the Season 1 costume is WOAT, why does batman keep getting the cool costumes?

Is Claire talking about Luke when she describes that big guy she helped out?

I believe so. She mentioned him basically the same way she mentioned Matt when talking to Jessica in Jessica Jones. I wonder if that's going to be the only connection between the two. I'm still hoping there is something a bit more before the season is over.

especially with the defenders coming up in the future, they'll have to establish relationships at some point.

That's what I figured. I mean it makes sense not having them connect in the 1st seasons, but I kind of felt like they would do a bit more than just Claire casually referring to them again. I'm only on episode 4 though, so I guess I'll find out.

Fuck episode 3 was good. Not only did they "adapt" a great moment from a Garth Ennis issue but they outdid the hallway fight from season 1.

Episode 3 finally gets the season rolling, awesome episode. I enjoyed the first two but they were inconsistent compared to last season. I'm hoping this momentum keeps up.

Loved the scene in episode 2 with Matt temporarily losing his hearing and freaking out in silence. Very well done. Also loved the fight with the police trying to shoot at them.

I have a question. Has any changes been made to the opening intro, and are there any hints that Vincent D'onofrio will be returning in season 2 or 3?

Question for those who have finished episode 3. At the end, did Frank walk out while Matt was fighting the last of the bikers? Last thing I saw was Frank taking a nap in the elevator and now at the beginning of episode 4 he's on his own again. Did Daredevil just leave him there?

Edit: man, Karen is thirsty.

I'm pretty sure he escapes while Matt is fighting those last few bikers.

They show Frank waking up in the elevator and seeing Matt fighting the last three guys in the lobby.

Episode 3 was amazing.

EDIT: Just saw Episode 4. Give Bernthal all the awards. Goddamn. Shut it down.
