It's easy and HOTS matches are pretty short. You can get a friend and play one match a night if you don't have a lot of time. It's not that much of an effort if you can run the game.

Nah, it's fine. I suppose I just find D.Va so much fun to play that I don't often feel like using other characters. It also helps that D.Va is an extremely versatile character. Plus, I find her very appealing aesthetically, both in pilot and mech forms.
In my case at least, I've found that focusing on just one character allows me to figure out how to best use the character in a wide variety of situations, which further contributes to my feeling that I don't need to switch. That said, I have played around with some of the other characters, just not much in Quick Play or Competitive.

I play Overwatch on PS4 but i'll be playing HotS on my Macbook Pro and i noticed in the blizzard app that every game Blizzard is currently operating runs on my Mac, except Overwatch. Maybe a possible blizzcon announcement?

One thing i've like a lot from playing hots is how easy they make it to find groups of people that want to play by having the little party finder. I think something similar could be put into OW, even if it's not going to be used by the serious/top players for their groups. Oh also, loot box re-rolls. I am addicted to doing that in Hots, plus I got a ton of gold to use lol

Hello fellow D.Va only player. Personally put almost over 300 hours (across quick play and all comp seasons) on D.Va alone and I can't quit her. I've only played other heroes in Comp if someone grabs D.Va first. I feel exactly the same way you do when it comes to focusing and mastering one hero so you can learn how to deal with every situation. I play objective and get three to four gold medals 90% of the time, and I'm not even chasing for the gold.Nah, it's fine. Attack, Defend, D.Va can do it all, she feels OP at times, especially if you have decent DPS players on your team who can aim and know which targets to hit first in any given situation.

you can do this weeks vs the ai so it's super easy. Heck, if you got a group of 5 with one person playing a lucio, one as sgt hammer and one tank you can just go straight down the middle of most maps and go straight for the core
Hello, my brothers in good taste.
I haven't played D.Va as much this competitive season, since I'm trying to climb by using 'safe' characters like Reinhardt and Tracer, but she is definitely my favorite character. In addition to liking her personality, aesthetics and versatility, I also like how unique she is, even within the context of the game. She's the only character who has two forms of play, and if you play her right, you have the chance at an extra life. That just appeals to me, it makes me feel like I always have a trump I can play whereas I would have died with anyone else. And I think her ult, on the rare times you can actually get a good number of kills with it, is the most satisfying in the game.
Perfect. 2 more for my Genji skin.

YES! Her ult kills require skill and a little bit of luck with the enemies being in the wrong spot at the wrong time. It's also the greatest feeling when you time it right by watching the enemy Zaryas, Winstons, Reins, Orisas, Meis to make sure they have used their shields/abilities and aren't able to block D.Va's ult and call it out and get 3-5 kills. Love that it also allows you zone control. Her defense matrix as well and the ability to swallow up graviton surge, rocket barrage, high noon, pulse bomb, etc, etc. D.Va really is the best haha

So go to collection and the 4 feature bundles should be there. Flex, Warrior/Bruiser, Support/Specialist and Assassin. You can get one of those 4 bundles and get those heroes (you get enough gems when you log in the first time to get them)
The 6stack gaf is limited to our hero varieties. Since around 2/3 ppl pretty much play the same few heros things cant mix up when we fight certain matchup. Having 1 or 2 random can break the ice when they are more proficient on heros we dont play. But just god no 5-4 randoms since thats basically more chance for bad randoms. 1 or 2 random and you can still maybe carry??
Until you get hanamura or that stupid cemetry map. Those 2 map take the longest since you cant directly go to their base and atk.
you can speed them up, take all the towers in the cementary one and use the pillars when you do for more shots. similarly with hanamura every structure killed gives you an extra shot when you deliver a payload

I think some of the greatest value in putting at least some time into all heroes is you get a better gamesense about them when facing (or supporting) them. You know when this hero is scared 'cause they just used X, you know that hero is a serious threat because Y and so on.
Playing Z makes you a lot better at killing Z.

I've had some fun times on Reaper but all I really need to know about him now is that when he drops into my line, goes for my healer and I wrap defense matrix around him, it is hilarious.
I still think he needs to teleport faster (and not announce it so loud) and to be able to cancel out of wraith when the player wants before the full duration.
Also wouldn't hurt if they let him do extra damage on armor.

I like Tracer but she still isn't usable in every scenario.

Soldier feels so essential because of what he counters and because he's the only reliable shield buster (Reaper but he sucks) in the offense category. I feel like there is an open niche for a new hero. Way too often I just don't want to play any of them.
Defense is worse off but they always have been.
Tanks and supports are just the most fun and most diverse by far.

Agreed about Pharah feeling meh and I've played with her a lot and do well with her. My problem is the rockets just don't feel satisfying to fire, it feels like I'm firing a nerf gun. Compare it to something like Hog's scrap gun and the difference is immense.
Overwatch needs gibs.
