I know we used to do this before, but was there something against pooling our tickets together? I can understand if there was maybe something against giving money to a person for them to go buy the tickets, but if I get a ticket I wouldn't mind throwing it into a pool so if one of us wins we can still split a massive amount of money.

True, but while you'd think you can trust coworkers more than Gaffers, there's really nothing keeping the person who purchases the winning ticket (either via money provided by others or by themselves) from hoarding the winnings for themselves is there?

Perhaps there's some paperwork we could draw up for that? I don't know, might be too much work for such a tiny, tiny bump in improved odds.

I think the tax is 40% so take home is about $280 million. Which is still a lot but it's not $700 million. Not enough for season 2 of Serenity 😣

Like around 293mil. Thats if you chose cash up-front. If you do the annuity then about 463mil in 30 years but it would still be better to get lump sum and just invest, in 30 years worth of investing you could make up the 170mil difference, and most definitely earn it back quicker than that, and far more.

Edit: 🤔 i got an idea to pick the winning numbers. just pick random posts and look at the number and mix them! 🤓

Every Wednesday at 6:12pm Pacific I'll randomly choose a user and send em a picture of how much money I have in my name that day. I'll then ask for their mailing address and send them a package containing 100 wallet sized pictures of my bank snapshot.
