We have not heard anything. Yuzuru Tachikawa is preparing an original anime project at the moment, so any second Mob season would likely need to wait until after that comes out.

I think it might be pretty bad if you never seen the show before and are trying to really get into the story, but It's pretty enjoyable seeing how chat responds. Like every time mob is down on himself that he can't have proper feelings, everyone in chat says he's just like them lol.

I think crunchyroll really missed an opportunity with not putting Squid Girl on the marathon though. Would have been perfect with twitch's squid emote.

Patlabor OVAS - finished - Had a decent start but didn't really go anywhere for me. The episodic nature of it just didn't satisfy my interests. And I didn't care much for the group as characters.

Patlabor Movie 1 - A step up from the OVAs, I think. Just spending more time on one thing was a positive. But I kinda wish it were more...

Patlabor Movie 2 - Like this! This was really good and had more of the sort of paranoia and seriousness I wanted. Felt like it could be part of Oshii's Ghost in the Shell world.

Children Who Chase Lost Voices - This was the last Shinkai work I had on my list to watch and I think it's my favorite. In general I don't enjoy his movies very much, or find them all that emotionally resonant. I got a lot more into this one though. It was enjoyably magical.

Kill Me Baby - Finished - It was like 13 nearly identical episodes. The endless 13. I quite enjoyed the characters and the goofs, but they felt underutilized. Like it was just repeating jokes instead of properly iterating on them. It never fully leaned into any of the setups like how say Gintama does, where each presentation is funnier than the last.

There is something incredibly charming about this boring show. I love how they are slowely developing the relationships, very similar to Tsuki ga Kirei. It's a very "peaceful" show...

This show speaks to me.

I'm enjoying this a lot more than I thought I would. The gaming references and dialogue are lighthearted and not overly intrusive, and the romcom is legitimately funny despite being a very cliched scenario based around misunderstandings. Or maybe it's just because it's the first generic romcom I've seen in a while, so the formula hasn't gone stale yet. Tendou getting blown up every appearance is hilarious, too.

Like holy duck is Haikyu ever amazing. It's got hype, comedy, heart, and so much damn character. Dare I even say this is my favourite shonen series of all time. All the ups and downs, the incredible highs of beating Seijou in the practice match and beating Dateko to the heartbreaking loss to Seijou at the inter-highs. It's just… so beautiful.
