I wonder if they just took the blood out of the gunshots for the trailer? The game is rated M.
Also their logo looks a lot like the OWSLA logo.

No it looks bad. He shoots the guy in the stomach several times and there is no blood, no exit wounds, nothing. Yea, next gen my ass.
You're really curving discussion in a positive way aren't you.
The gameplay shown in this trailer looked like a lot of shit getting beat up, blown up, and turned off.
they are going lowest common denominator in this reveal trailer to get the action punk vote.Well the hacking mechanics seem to be secondary to an action orientated gameplay experience from what I can see, its almost like the hacking is a minigame/quicktime rather than the basis of the game.
I hope I am wrong but that is certainly the way it seems, whilst hacking is obviously the basis of the game I do not expect it to be in-depth or anything special like some want it to be.

Playstation bundles confirmed.
Please tell me there is someone on GAF who is excited about the gameplay possibilties introduced with the hacking?
Because reading this thread, it seems all people give a shit about is the graphics and Ze IMeRSANS! (oh noes, the bullets have no exit wounds, and the Ai faces doesn't realistically react to pain, the immersion is all gone)
Well, it is a trailer. Its designed to keep a fast pace.
Gameplay wise, watch dogs looks really appealing.
I have seen direct gameplay of someone playing the game live twice.
He created dynamic cover using solar panels to rise up.
He trapped a bunch of enemies by activating conveyors and causing construction equipment to go off
He escaped combat by blacking out the area and fleeing
He was able to stop cop chases by creating new pathways and closing of others (raising bridges and blockers)
Its a game focused on experimentation and that really appeals to me.
Live as in stage demo or live as in someone playing it on the show floor? If it was a live demo I don't know what to say, Ubisoft bullshits gameplay demos at E3 on a constant basis.
I will actually probably get one.

I imagine over time they will release some more strategic game play element trailers and dev explanations of various game play options.
I hope
you are saying they bullshit the game play elements described in the post you quoted?Live as in stage demo or live as in someone playing it on the show floor? If it was a live demo I don't know what to say, Ubisoft bullshits gameplay demos at E3 on a constant basis.

Live. Guy was playing it infront of me twice on a PS4. I know it wasn't bullshitted because the dude fucked up in a cop chase and flew into the river.
Here we go:
Here we go:
3 days before Mario Kart 8. Now i understand the delay on Wii U.
I don't think you remember what last gen looked like. The game looks super crisp and the textures (on the people especially) look great. For an open world game it's looking nice.
If you consider this "bad graphics" I think you're going to be disappointed a lot this gen.
I must be taking crazy pills because I thought that was pretty damn graphically impressive.
Please tell me there is someone on GAF who is excited about the gameplay possibilties introduced with the hacking?
From what we've seen, the hacking seemed to be boring and messed with the flow of the game. It was a gimmick to market a poor gta clone.
This trailer and the delay give me hope because the core gameplay seems to be improved and the focus of the game.
I want to drive cars, kill people and do cool shits and those part must be really good. The hacking system could be nice only if the core mechanics are top notch.
Here we go:
This is why I dislike E3, it's normally always smoke and mirrors.
Omg, the graphics aren't the most impressive ones we've seen on next-gen? It's almost as if... this is a cross-gen game or something?!
People need to calm down. It irks me that many gamers complain about bloated budgets and the state of the AAA industry, yet turn a blind eye to all this extreme graphical scrutiny that goes on among hardcore gamers for games (that aren't even built to take full advantage of new hardware). How do you think AAA games got so big and focused on "cinematic" immersion in the first place? Jesus.
hm... vs:
Doesn't look to bad when compared, doesn't it?

In this case, it's Ubisoft's own damn fault when they create a bullshit trailer for E3 that is not even close to indicative of the real version.
