This was just in the reveal trailer, all the other trailers were more and more focusing on the shooting and fighting aspect of the game. He is no longer a hacker, might as well be a spec ops or something. I still hope you can still play mostly as a hacker and not as an assassin (pun intended), but I think I will be disappointed.

Everything looks more crisp (thanks 1080p) and the textures look better too, especially on the models.

No, he says that there will still be a last gen game, it will just be another game entirely. So that there are two ACs this year current gen and last gen.

I don't think you remember what last gen looked like. The game looks super crisp and the textures (on the people especially) look great. For an open world game it's looking nice.
If you consider this "bad graphics" I think you're going to be disappointed a lot this gen.

GTA V looks much more visually impressive and it was a last gen game.
I seriously think it looks like ps3. Lighting and texture on this trailer is a long way off from the old trailers.

I've had enough Ubisoft open-world games to know when they look boring and filled with tick-boxes.
I bet you're gonna have some sort of "hack this part of town" thing, similar to AC's view points and Far Cry's posts, that will then unlock a bunch of boring side-quests that have maybe 10 variation types.
Hopefully the gameplay delivers, but I doubt it.

Take a good look at the reveal trailer again, guy. GTA5 looks more visually impressive in just about every regard. If this is ps4/One footage, it's truly sad.

The fact that we can't even tell for sure which generation of consoles that trailer is for is kind of a problem. But I doubt they'd release a trailer for a big new title for the previous generation. So that's probably a PS4 trailer which doesn't look great to me.

The game still looks awesome, and it still has what made me excited for the game in the first place. The environment manipulation.
Everything that made me excited for watch dogs in the first place is still there. Its the thing that makes this game stand out to me. The fact the player can manipulate and change the environment at will.
Hell, I'm excited for infamous because of gameplay and story... not the graphics (although they are nice)

Really, GTAV had some good but not great character models, but the a lot of the environment textures were pretty low res.
Wut? You can't possibly be serious. It looks like an upscaled 360 game. Crisp textures is not what we use to define next gen. This is very much a 360 game. Gta V on ps360 looks more impressive and the next gen port will look even better.
