I can't get over how they brought together the things I love about Crackdown, Jet Set Radio, and Ratchet into one game.

Cool use of the Resistance Grim like designs for the zombie things. Also, lots of Ratchet influence with the skate rails and weapons. I cannot unsee Resistance grims and leeches.

Definitely using a lot of the good content from previous games.

That can be considered a kick in the teeth for some. Supporting Insomnaic for 20 years and they release an excellent game on a rival platform where 90% does not reside.

With that out of the way pity I won't get to play it for a long time.

Insomniac: Here is this fun and bright looking game that is something we have wanted to make for 20 years, and we are not going to put it on the platform family that people have been playing our games .

Instead we are going to put out 2 mediocre ratchet and clank games, a decent one and a bland, lifeless shooter called FUSE.

Looks like I need to borrow a friends xbox one to play this.

The graphics look amazing. I am certainly interested.

My only concern right now is that while the traversal looks *really* fun, it seems too slow. Like I didn't get a sense of speed from the trailer. Hopefully this gets better or just feels better when playing.

I notice the speed complaint, too, but I think it works out good that way, because I believe you need to have a normal speed, one that actually allows you to be somewhat precise and effective at shooting while grinding on rails or else what's the point? At the same time, I think if your interest is mostly just to speed your way through the environment and are somehow less concerned about hitting specific targets, then I think you can move even faster by gaining enough momentum through successful traversal and platforming, but a dev would have to confirm that. I think as your style points go up, so, too, might the speed of your movement throughout the environment.
